Problems at Universal Hall
1.Four workers had no experience.
2.Evening workers has complaints because they had to clean up the cafeteria each night so the morning workers did not have to do such duties.
3.The Women didn’t like “Mrs. Noisy” because of three reasons.
1st, the old workers all knew each other and were comfortable with one another.
The new woman was not from their group.
2nd, she had a loud and irritating voice.
3rd, she often exaggerated about her own expertise in large kitchens.
4.Dishwasher. It was just too much for only one woman to handle the dishes. and sometime other workers had to help to dishwasher but they didn’t like it and were upset about it. .
5.There was less chance for conversation because the women were busier trying to prepare the meals.
6.The workers were allowed to order their own supplies, but not anymore. many of the women had expressed unhappiness about their duties, the personalities of other workers, and lack of consideration from management
7.The five student workers were a great help to the other workers however they knew about the problems that the women workers were having, but they did not take sides or become involved.
