소개

1. Use rena.raw. Sobel operator is used to obtain an edge image. Plot the resultant image. To save a toner of a printer, it is strongly recommended that edges be plotted black with white background. Be careful of choice of thresholding and report the threshold in your report.

2. For an edge element (sometimes called edgels), you can calculate its gradient direction. Use atan2. Think of a good way to represent the angle values. In your report, this needs classifying.

3. Gaussian Blurring
You sample a Gaussian function into a 7×7 mask. Blur rena.raw with the mask, and report the blurred image. Implement the mask by using a cascade of x direction and y direction masks. Report the speeds of both cases in terms of CPU time. Is it agreeable with a theoretical value?
