초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze Xinchengzi Dapiande dolmens. The site of Dapiande are dolmens which have grave facilities. They are only dolmen site in the valley of the Taizihe River.
The results of this study are as follows:1. The fact that there are sixteen grave pits in the boundaries of a grave is the characteristic of the site of Dapiande. This dolmen types are similar to those of Gindong in Hwangju, Cheonjindong in Hwangju, Sungmun No. 1 in Sariwon, Igumdong in Sacheon and Sangchon III in Yeosu.
2. Considering the fact that the grave pits of the buried people in the dolmens of Dapiande are in the same boundaries of a grave, there is a quite possibility that they are family members. It seems that the dolmen is a public cemetery of a family.
3. The size of the grave pit in the dolmens of Dapiande will prove that there were two types of burial at that time ― flexed burial and reburial. It is worth noticing that the cremation of body popular burial custom at that time have not been excavated.
4. The structure of the grave pit in the dolmens of Dapiande is a peculiar type that the stone lined tomb is mixed with the stone coffin.
5. The misongni-type pottery were excavated in the dolmens of Dapiande. They are typical artifacts of Old Jeseon. Considering the size of them, it is likely that they are not useful articles but mortuary gifts for being buried.
6. The misongni-type pottery were excavated as the representative relics in the dolmens of Dapiande. The site of Dapiande were called 'Xinchengzi Culture' due to their unprecedented grave pits.
