『편옥기우기』에 나타난 가족 창출의 서사 (The Narration of Family Creation in 『PyeonOkKiWooKi』(편옥기우기))

초록

This study has the purpose of identifying the ultimate narration of 「PyeonOkKiWooKi」(편옥기우기). It was identified that this work takes the narration of family breakup, exploration, and creation as the point by debate. The conclusion by this research is as following.
First, this work is divided as three parts in large and the first part describes the process of breaking up the family. The father who takes the center of the family comes out of the character with will and behavior to keep his own political opinion strongly. The tendency of this conflicts with family owing to mother’s worry and opinion for the safe family and adds danger obviously to the family. The daughter who was left after experiencing the crisis enters the process of exploration to creation the family. In the process of exploration, she got to find out the way to the family, and as a method, there comes a new family to be replaced with the original complete family. Through this process the daughter makes a new complete family and the family creation goes towards the process of completion.
Second, there is a political desire in the back of family reconstruction which takes the main of this narration. Maybe the political failure that appears in the front and back of this work and the compensation for the failure take a certain role to stress the political desire implicated in the narration of the family reconstruction. The narration of family creation and political narration like this reflect the hidden desire for recover of the people who had experienced political failure and can be presumed as the writers.
Third, this work has a certain meaning in the sense that it suggests a realistic issue to the family with the problem of family breakup and creation by mobilizing the narration of family reconstruction. However there is this work’s own trait in the aspect that it has so much desire for family creation that it can’t express the narration deeply through the conflicts and failed to make it realistic. The excessive awareness for the idea to make family reconstruction the narration leads the work to just remain on the board of making narration and expressing idea and failed to attain the mature narration. It is the general point of literary meaning in this work.
