COVID-19 팬데믹에 의한 가구디자인 연구 -실내용 벤치를 중심으로 (A Study on Furniture Design by COVID-19 Pandemic - Focusing on the Indoor Bench -)

초록

COVID-19 first occurred in Wuhan of the Hubei Province in China in December, 2019, and the spread of it is still going on. The world is trembling for the fear of the pandemic, ‘the phenomenon of an infectious disease’s global spread’ For a long time since then, each country has been implementing their closure policy to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and providing systematic preventions and treatments by developing a vaccine to prevent infection.
Amid this pandemic, there is a need for research to provide small comfort for those suffering and lead a better life in the ‘With COVID-19’ era, and research is now being carried out in various fields to cope with the ‘With COVID-19’ era. As one way, this study is to explore fur niture design that can cope with ‘With COVID-19’ in our lives. People want to overcome the COVID-19 virus infection and enjoy their lives as before in public places where people gather.
One of the measures against that is to keep the distance between people in life to secure safety.
One of the ways to maintain that distance is the use of furniture that we can sit on.
Particularly, benches help people to feel comfortable and relaxed indoors. The purpose of this study is to examine the design of planterior furniture to make benches that have pots letting people maintain the distance from others. As presenting the direction of bench design for dis tancing through practical as well as original ideas, this author expects that the ‘With Covid-19’ era will end soon by preventing and overcoming the virus.
