의사소통 및 애착관계 회복을 위한 중년부부의 통합적 상담 사례 연구 (A Case Study of Integrated Counselling for Middle-aged Couples for Communication and Restoration of Attachment Relationships)

초록

본 연구는 의사소통 및 애착관계 회복에 관한 중년부부의 통합적 상담 사례이다. 이 사례는 2020년 3월부터 2020년 8월까지 총 20회로 진행하였다. 본 연구참여자는 G시에 거주하며 50대 중반의 청소년기 자녀를 둔 부부이다. 연구결과, 초반부는 부부관계의 변화를 위해서 부부의 현재 상황이나 갈등에 집중하여 상담을 하였으며, 중반부는 상호작용 및 태도의 변화를 중심으로 어린시절의 애착 경험을 다루었으며, 종결부는 의사소통 및 애착증진에 대한 어떤 경험을 하였는지를 살펴보았다. 따라서 부부 간의 서로에 대한 욕구와 바람을 표현하고 수용하게 될때, 부부관계가 개선된다는 결과가 나타났다. 특히, 부부관계 개선에 대한 남편의 변화와 노력, 의지 정도에 따라 아내의 반응의 변화와 기능적인 순환체계가 빠르게 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다. 상담을 통해, 배우자에게 말하지 않아도 알아주기를 바라던 행동이 배우자에게 자신의 정서를 표현하는 것으로 바뀌었고, 배우자를 비난하고 평가하는 자기중심적인 의사소통 방법에서 상대방을 공감하고 이해하려는 방식으로 변화하는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구는 부부상담 과정에서 원활한 의사소통과 부부관계 회복의 효과를 통해 추후 부부상담 관련 연구 개발에 기여하고자 한다.

영어초록

This study is a counselling case for middle-aged couples in which attachment theory and a satire communication approach are integrated to treat middle-aged couples experiencing conflicts due to communication problems. A total of 20 of these cases were invetigated. The purpose of this study is to examine the changes experienced by the communication approach, attachment theory, and integrated therapeutic intervention in the relationships of middle-aged couples. After analyzing the communication style and attachment behavior that appear in the current middle-aged couple, the counselling case was structured and intervened. The participants in this study live in G-city, are married couples in their mid-fifties, and have adolescent children. As a result of the study, the first part focused on the couple's current problems or conflicts to change the marital relationship; the middle part dealt with childhood attachment experiences in the stage of interaction and attitude change; and the ending part focused on some experiences related to communication and attachment enhancement. Therefore, the results showed that the relationship between husband and wife improves when they express their desires and wishes for each other and experience being accepted. In particular, it was found that the change in the wife's response and the functional circulation system were rapidly achieved according to the husband's change, effort, and willingness to improve the marital relationship. The behavior of wanting recognition from the spouse has changed to expressing one's emotions to the spouse as a result of analyzing the responses to the questionnaires given to each couple after death, and the egocentric communication method of criticizing and evaluating the spouse has changed. I could see that they were changing in the way they wanted to empathize and understand. This study aims to contribute to the development of future research and development related to couple counselling through the effects of smooth communication and the recovery of marital relationships during the couple counselling process.
