초록

The purpose of present study is to provide missiological approaches for the unity of women in North and South Korea in unified Korean society. The study begins with a careful exploration of lives of North Korean women. The characteristics of North Korean women can be summarized as 1) social systemization of gender equality and accordingly women's active participation in society; 2) but women were still suffered under the patriarchal family structure ; and 3) During 1990s, North Korean women became more suffered extreme poverty due to the serious problem of the food shortage.
Based on such analysis, the study has tried to forecast the impact of the national unification to the lives of women both North and South Koreans. They are summarized as 1) the vast migration of North Korean women to South due to the desperate economic situation of North Korea 2) the maximization of conflict between North and South women and 3) the possible change of understanding of women's role in the family and society.
This study suggests the ministry of reconciliation as the missiological foundation for the unification of North and South women. And finally, in this article, the writer attempts to develop mission strategies for the true unification of North and South women. They are 1) to develop various diakonic ministries for North Korean women, 2) to implement various ministries to enhance and celebrate similarity of North and South Korea, 3)and finally to utilize various missiological practices to increase egalitarian view of women in the church and society in the unified Korean society.
