소비에트 초기 공간 지도 형성과 시네마 네트워크 - 예술매체의 사회화와 탈중심의 과제 (The Formation of the Space Map in Early Soviet Period and Cinema-network)

초록

After the social revolution of 1917, the creation of new world in Soviet Union was associated with the concept of new space. In fact, the problem of territory and space appeared important not only for Soviet Union, but also through the long history of Russian Imperial. For new Soviet government the success of any social and political project depends on the provision of an imaginary ‘map’ of social and spatial totality. A search for the shape and contours of the new order was related with a search for the new model of identity for the Union.
Then, the soviet leaders paid attention to film which could be served as the new medium of art. Cinema is ‘the most important of all the arts’(V.Lenin), because kino, the ‘great silent’ is the most effective means of communication with the illiterate of almost people. Through cinema the wide territory of the union could be connected and surveyed new soviet ideology. In the period of NEP and the First Five Year Plan film industry went successfully, and profit of which used for the project ‘cinefication’ of the territory.
So, in the territory of soviet union there formed wide cinema-network, which showed the formation on new world. Early Soviet kino-crossing section of politics and culture. When product of the films, it was closely related with the government policy, for example, electricification, industrialization, collectivization. Then the organizations like Goskino and Sovkino played role to distribute films on the territory of union. And ‘agitational point’ and ‘agitational train’, as new media of connection, served for the union-wide network on all of the territory in Soviet Union.
In this cinema-network reflected consciousness of the space as horizontal, and it definitely related with the early Soviet regime-‘decentralization’ of the new nation.
