한국발육발달학회지의 10년간(2010-2019) 연구동향: 키워드 네트워크 분석 중심으로 (Research Trend of “The Korean Journal of Growth and Development” for 10 Years (2010-2019): Keyword Network Analysis)

초록

The study aims to look at the research trend of 494 papers published in the Korean Journal of Growth and Development between 2010 and 2019 and seek for further improvement. The study conducted Keyword Network Analysis based on keywords used in research for nearly 10 years and identified major keywords, analyzing research topics and trends. The Korean Journal of Growth and Development improved qualitatively while being qualified as a professional journal, and in the quantitative aspect, it was shown that the number of papers published each year increased steadily. Frequently mentioned ten keywords with high centrality were analyzed to be “body composition,” “physical fitness,” “elderly woman,” “obesity,” “blood lipid,” “child,” “combined exercise,” “elderly,” “physical activity,” and “middle-aged.” These were all figured out to be the terms related to sub-components of health-related physical strength and stages of human growth and development. A total of 21 research papers included “child” with 52 keywords: “physical fitness (5 times),” “obesity (3 times),” “BMI (2 times),” “body fat (2 times),” “eating habit (2 times),” “elementary school (2 times),” “exercise (2 times),” “life behavior (2 times),” “life habit (2 times),” “lifestyle (2 times),” “motor ability (2 times),” “physical activity (2 times),” and others. Also, 48 research papers included “elderly,” “elderly woman,” and “elderly men” with 124 keywords: “elderly woman (25 times),” “elderly (19 times),” “physical fitness (6 times,” “depression (5 times),” “body composition (4 times),” “elderly man (4 times),” “senior fitness test (4 times),” and others. It was analyzed that keywords related to obesity were frequently used in research on children and the elderly. Keywords related to lifestyle and daily habits were core terms in research on children, while for research on the aged, core terms were more specific keywords related to physical activities and blood index.
