초록

A human being seeks his happiness from birth to death, and makes constant effort to lead a happy life. As such,happiness is an endless subject to human beings, and so many scholars have been discussing this subject. So, isn’t there a mechanism for happy life? In this respect, this study intended to discuss a happiness mechanism focusing on enjoyment. Because a human being cannot predict his future, he obtains happiness by looking back on the past or being lost in memories through meaningful objects. In other words, when a human being feels enjoyment about the past, he can smile unconsciously. So, is there any method to feel happy through future life? With respect to this, this study attempts to examine the fundamental aspect of happiness mechanism through the theoretical research on pleasure and happiness. For this, this study made qualitative and conceptual consideration of natural science and humanities. For a happy life, this study focused on happiness mechanism for cultural life and creative activities from the perspective of mind. Since the Pleistocene, culture has been developed in connection with survival and reproduction of human beings, and so creativity is essential to disseminate such culture. This isbecause when human beings can adapt themselves to aesthetic environment in the process of evolution. For this,it was essential that culture and creativity have been developing forming close relationship. Because of this, human beings need behaviors seeking for narcissism internally as well as externally, and when such behaviors communicate with each other and feel pleasure of enjoyment through cultural life and creative activities, a happiness mechanism necessarily increases.
