초록

본 연구는 FIFA 2019 프랑스 여자 월드컵에 출전한 한국팀과 4강 진출팀(미국, 영국, 스웨덴, 네덜란드)의 선수들을 대상으로 공격 변인, 수비 변인, 경기활동량(체력) 변인의 경기력을 비교 분석하였다. 연구대상은 한 경기에서 75분 이상 출전한 수비수(DF), 미드필더(MF), 그리고 공격수(FW) 포지션의 선수 중 경기분석 요인이 다른 골키퍼를 제외한 총 140명으로 선정하였다. 본 연구는 4강 진출팀과 한국 팀 간의 공격 변인, 수비 변인, 경기활동량(체력) 변인에서 유의미한 차이를 분석하기 위해 SPSS 29 프로그램을 통해 이들의경기 데이터를 일원 배치 분산분석(One-Way ANOVA)을 통해 분석하였다. 유의수준은 α= .05로 설정되었으며, 이 수준을 넘는 결과는 통계적으로 유의미하다고 간주 되었다. 공격 변인을 분석한 결과, 한국팀은 볼 소유 시간, 총 패스, 전방 패스, 성공한 전방 패스율, 공격지역 3/1 패스 등에서 다른 국가들에 비해 낮은 성과를 보였다. 특히 볼 소유 시간이 23.95분으로 가장 낮았으며, 이는 공격적활동에 있어서 개선의 여지가 있음을 나타낸다. 또한, 성공한 패스와 전방 패스에서도 다른 국가들과 비교해 낮은 평균값을 기록했다.
이는 전방으로의 진출과 관련된 공격 전략의 개선이 필요함을 시사한다. 수비 변인을 분석한 결과 볼 빼앗은 횟수, 태클, 공중 볼 경합 등에서 한국팀이 다른 국가들보다 낮은 지표를 보였다. 특히 볼 획득에서 가장 낮은 지표를 나타냈다. 이는 1대1 수비 능력과 조직적인 수비에서의 개선이 필요함을 의미한다. 경기 활동량(체력) 변인을 분석한 결과 전체 이동 거리와 경기활동량 면에서도 한국팀은 다른 국가들에 비해 낮은 성과를 보였다. 특히 고강도 구역(Zone 4와 5)에서의 이동 거리와 스프린트 횟수가 낮게 나타나, 경기활동량(체력) 측면에서의 개선이 요구된다. 본 연구결과는 4강팀과 한국팀의 경기분석결과를 통해 수비, 공격, 경기활동량(체력) 부분에서 개선, 보완해야 할 사항에 대해 기초자료를 만들고자 한다.

영어초록

This study compared and analyzed the performance of the South Korean team and the semi-finalist teams (USA, England, Sweden, Netherlands) in terms of offensive, defensive, and physical (endurance) variables at the FIFA 2019 Women's World Cup in France. The subjects of the study were selected from players in the positions of defender (DF), midfielder (MF), and forward (FW) who played more than 75 minutes in a match, excluding goalkeepers who have different game analysis factors, totaling 140 players. The research analyzed the game data of these players using one-way ANOVA (One-Way Analysis of Variance) through the SPSS 29 program to examine significant differences in physical, offensive, and defensive variables between the semi-final teams and the Korean team. The significance level was set at α = .05, and results exceeding this level were considered statistically significant. In the analysis of offensive variables, the Korean team showed lower performance compared to other countries in terms of ball possession time, total passes, forward passes, successful forward pass rate, and passes in the offensive 1/3 area. Particularly, the ball possession time was the lowest at 23.95 minutes, indicating room for improvement in offensive activities. Moreover, the team recorded lower average values in successful passes and forward passes compared to other countries, suggesting a need for improvement in forward movement and offensive strategies. Analyzing defensive variables, the Korean team had lower metrics in ball recovery, tackling, and aerial duels compared to other countries. The lowest average value in ball recovery implies a need for improvement in one-on-one defensive capabilities and organized defense. In terms of physical (endurance) variables, the Korean team also showed lower performance in total distance covered and physical activity during the game. Especially, the distance covered in high-intensity zones (Zone 4 and 5) and the number of sprints were low, indicating a need for improvement in the physical aspect of the game. The results of this study aim to provide foundational data for improvements and enhancements in defense, offense, and physical aspects by analyzing the game performance of the semi-finalist teams and the Korean team.
