산학연협력 캡스톤디자인 수업이 대학핵심역량의 제고에 미치는 효과성 검증 연구 (A Study on the Effectiveness of Industry-Academic Cooperation Capstone Design Class on the Enhancement of University Core Competencies)

초록

학령인구 감소와 지역소멸 위기 속에서 지역대학은경쟁력 강화를 위해 지자체와 지역대학이 자율혁신을통해 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해 노력하고 있다. 자율혁신과 경쟁력 강화를 위해 대학은 지식과 정보의 폭발적증가에 대응할 수 있는 역량 중심의 교육과정을 실시하고 있다.
이에 본 논문은 역량기반의 산학연협력으로 진행한캡스톤 디자인 수업을 통해 대학핵심 역량(자원정보기술활용 역량, 문제해결 역량, 지역공생 역량, 팀워크역량)과 전공 역량(디자인 기획, 제작, 제작 실무)이제고되었는가에 대한 효과성을 검증하고자한다.
본 연구의 대상 및 범위는 2023년 2학기 충남 소재 대학의 4학년 학생을 대상으로 한다. 지역의 대표문화유산인 문화재청 현충사와 사전협의를 통해 23년현충사 디지털 일러스트 전시를 기획하였다. 지역대학생들이 캡스톤 수업을 통해 이순신과 현충사를 포함한 지역문화유산을 현대적 콘텐츠로 시각화하여 지역주민을 포함한 현충사 방문객에게 전시하여 우리의문화유산를 알리고자 하였다.
연구 방법은 캡스톤디자인 수업을 기반으로 현충사와 산학연협력으로 전시를 기획하고 교과목을 설계하였다. 1주차 오리엔테이션에서 대학역량사전평가 설문을 실시하여 현재 학생들의 역량을 사전평가하고 교과목 운영이 끝나는 15주에 사후평가를 실시하였다.
통계프로그램 SPSS/WIN 25.0을 사용하여 지역연계산학협동실습 수업의 사전⋅사후 향상성을 분석하여결론을 도출한다. 대학역량 전체에서 사전조사보다 지역연계 캡스톤디자인 수업 실시 이후 사후조사에서점수가 높아진 것으로 나타났다(t=-4.864, p<.001) 특히 사전⋅사후 비교검증에서 지역사회를 이해하고 지역과 협력하여 문제를 해결할 수 있다는 지역공생 대학핵심역량에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 본 연구의 결과로써 지역과 연계한 산학연 캡스톤디자인 수업을 통해 효과적으로 대학의 역량을 제고할 수 있는 가이드라인으로 활용되기를 기대한다.

In the midst of a decline in the school-age population and the crisis of regional extinction, local universities and local universities are striving to strengthen their competitiveness through autonomous innovation. In order to strengthen self-innovation and competitiveness, universities are conducting competencyoriented curriculums that can solve problems by applying the learned contents to the context of life rather than acquiring fragmentary knowledge that can respond to the explosive increase in knowledge and information. Therefore, this paper aims to verify the effectiveness of whether university core competencies (resource information technology utilization competencies, problem solving competencies, local symbiosis competencies, teamwork competencies) and major competencies (design planning, production, and production practices) have been improved through capstone classes conducted through competency-based industry-academic cooperation.
The target and scope of this study are for 4th graders at universities located in Chungnam in the second semester of 2023. In advance consultation with the Cultural Heritage Administration’s Memorial Temple, a representative cultural heritage in the region, a digital illustration exhibition of Memorial History in 23 was planned Through the Capstone class, local university students visualized relics, including Yi Sun-shin and Memorial Temple, as modern contents and displayed them to visitors to Memorial Temple, including local residents, to inform our cultural assets. The research method was to plan exhibitions and design subjects through industry-academic cooperation with Memorial History based on the Capstone class. At the 1st week of orientation, a pre-evaluation of the current students’ competencies was conducted, and a post-evaluation was conducted at the 15th week of the course’s operation to draw conclusions by analyzing the pre- and post-improvement of regional-linked industry-academic cooperation practice classes using the statistical program SPSS/WIN 25.0. In the overall university competency, the score was higher in the post-survey after the regional-linked capstone class was conducted than in the pre-survey (t=-4.864, p<.001), especially in the pre-post comparison verification, there was a statistically significant difference in the core competencies of local students’ universities that can understand the local community and solve problems in cooperation with the region. As a result of this study, it is expected to be used as a guideline for effectively enhancing the capabilities of universities through regional-linked capstone classes.
