초록

This study aims to identify and summarize the characteristics of eco-friendly color design and its implications along with a survey and analysis of external colors for brand apartments newly built in the domestic metropolitan area over the past two years. Through this, we would like to understand the characteristics of the recent exterior color of apartment houses and suggest ways to spread eco-friendly color design. First, through literature research and analysis of related research, the characteristics and direction of eco-friendly design of exterior colors are summarized, trends in the eco-friendly apartment exterior colors industry related to the housing sector in the painting industry are identified, and future development directions are reviewed. Next, an on-site survey of major colors such as exterior colors and parking lots will be conducted on representative domestic brand apartments built for two years in 2020 and 2021, focusing on Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Next, based on the analysis of the survey results, the recent trends in external colors and eco-friendly characteristics are identified and implications are derived. The trend of converting the exterior colors of apartment houses centered on recent brand apartments into eco-friendly color designs considering the continuity, stability, and harmony of urban landscapes was identified through consideration. This trend is expected to accelerate further in the future, and it will lead to the expansion of existing apartment brand colors from auxiliary and emphasized colors to landscape and nature-friendly colors and the spread of material development. Environmental color design also requires the development of various color designs and active promotion of material development in preparation for this. In the future, it is essential to identify these objective elements of residents and evaluate them from the perspective of satisfaction, which will contribute to the development of more detailed color designs.
