친환경적 하천 둔치 골프장의 효율적 조성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Establishment of Eco-Friendly Golf Course along the Waterfront)

초록

The purpose of this research is to suggest establishment of eco-friendly golf course along the waterfront as a public sports facility, so that it can both contribute to popularization of golf and enhance visitation frequency and accessibility thanks to its reasonable price. Therefore, the waterfront between Hwarang Bridge over Geumho River and Beoman Bridge, located in Daegu, is appointed for the research in light of accessibility which can induce people, eco-friendliness, and appropriateness as a golf course.
The process of research is as follows; it firstly analyzed current status in order to find out the problems and necessity of establishing a golf course, and additionally investigated into the necessity of building public sports facility within the waterfront as well as analyzing current status of existing facilities based on the facility list managed by Daegu General Construction Headquarters and the competent authorities. Moreover, information of location environment and facility accessibility and a ground plan of the course were applied to the spot in order to suggest establishment of eco-friendly golf course along the waterfront. The satellite image of the spot was acquired through Google Earth Pro v4.2, and a ground plan was produced by Adobe PhotoShop CS3 v. 10.0.1.
The followings are the result of analyzing efficient establishment of eco-friendly golf course along the waterfront.
First, it is found that the placed around Geumho River, the national river of Daegue and Shincheon, the 1st-level stream of the district lack public sports facilities which are frequently used by the residents. Therefore, it is required to use the land more efficiently based on sufficient review of application.
Second, establishment of golf course along Geumho River is different from usual course construction on the mountain, since it is constructed along natural reclaimed ground. It brings about less damage on the nature and guarantees better accessibility of the customers, which can contribute to popularization of golf.
Last, based on the accessibility of the site and research about the number of potential customers, it is proved that it can be fully used as a public golf course instead of a luxury exclusive course.
Therefore, this research concludes that establishment of golf course along the waterfront of the river like Geumho River not only enhances efficiency of the river but also contributes to the development of golf, making people consider golf as a public sport.
