초·중등학교 체육 진로교육의 재구조화 방향 탐색 (Exploring the Restructuring Direction for Physical Education Career Education in Elementary and Secondary Schools)

초록

본 연구는 최근 정부 주도의 진로교육 강화 추세에 따라 그동안 학교에서 이루어진 체육 진로교육의 한계를 진단하고 시사점을 찾아 논의함으로써 향후 초.중.고등학교 체육 진로교육의 재구조화 방향을 탐색하는데 목적을 두었다. 이에 따라 체육 진로교육의 한계점으로는 진로교육의 개념 및 진로교육 대상의 편향적 교육, 중도포기 학생선수의 방황과 갈등에 대한 무관심, 은퇴 선수의 진로경로에 대한 선별적 교육, 체육분야의 직업가치 교육의 부재를 제시하였다. 이러한 시사점을 토대로 국내 초.중.고등학교 체육 진로교육을 근본적으로 변화시키는데 기여할 수 있는 재구조화 방향은 크게 4가지로 제시하였다. 구체적으로는체육진로교육의 재개념화, 시대적 요구 반영 중심의 체육 분야 직업교육 중시, 생애주기별 체육진로 로드맵생성, 체육 진로교육 전문가 양성 및 활용이다. 마지막으로 이러한 체육 진로교육의 재구조화가 학교 현장에서 교육적 성과를 거두기 위한 제언으로 4가지를 제시하였다. 구체적으로는 학교급별 맞춤형 체육 진로교육 내용 체계 개발, 체육진로교육 전문가 양성과정 개설과 교육청 파견 및 배치 제도 수립, 스포츠산업과의 네트워크 및 직업별 밸류 체인(Value Chain) 생성, 체육 관련 직업군의 국가직무능력표준(NCS)화 시도를 제언하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the directions for restructuring physical education career education in elementary and secondary schools by diagnosing the limitations of the physical education career education so far conducted in schools and discovering and discussing its implications, in step with the trend for reinforcing government-led career education. Thus, the study presents as limitations of physical education career education the biases involved in the concept and the recipients of career education, indifference to the wandering and conflict involving those drop-out student athletes, selective training for retired athletes, and the absence of education in occupation value of physical education. Based on such findings, the study presents broadly four directions for restructuring that may contribute to fundamentally changing the physical education career education in domestic elementary and secondary schools.
Specifically, they are reconceptualizing physical education career education, laying great store on physical education career education focused on reflecting demands of an era, creating a roadmap for life cycle-based physical education careers, and fostering and using physical education career educator. Lastly, the study makes the following four suggestions to see that such restructuring of physical education career education reaps educational outcome in schools.
Specifically, the study suggests developing physical education career education content system customized to school levels, installing a program for fostering physical education career education specialists and establishing a system for dispatching and placing them to offices of education, creating a network with sports industry and job-specific value chain, and trying to incorporate physical education related jobs into national competency standards (NCS).
