공동체문화 실천의 동인과 대안의 전망 (The Impetus For the Practice of Community Culture and the Prospects of Its Alternatives)

초록

이 글은 공동체문화 실천의 경향과 성격에 대한 귀납적인 정리를 바탕으로 첫째 실천의 동인으로 작용하고 있는 위기 인식의 층위들을 분석하여 그 특징을 논의하였다. 둘째 대안 담론의 대표적인 두 가지 유형(공통장과 인류세[또는 자본세/툴루세])을 정리하여 그 다양성과 복합성의 얼개를 파악하고 서로 다른 강조점의 차이에도 불구하고 어떤 점에서 매듭짓고 연계할 수 있는지를 숙고하고자 했다. 최근 대안적 개념과 사유의 공통적인 경향은 인간중심주의와 자본주의를 근본적인 차원에서 비판적으로 성찰하고 있다는 점, 여러 관점과 인식이 섞여 있는 매우 포괄적이고 복합적인 경향을 보이고 있다는 점 등이다. 위기와 대안은 자본주의 체제와 조응하고 있는 것으로, 문제 상황에 대한 인식의 차이에 따라 강조되는 지점이 다를 뿐, 결국 자본주의 체제가 야기한 모순들을 발견·융합한다고 정리할 수 있다.
그런데 공동체문화 실천을 굴절시키고 모순을 야기하는, 그 현장의 봉건적 경향은 문제적이다. 이 문제 상황에 직면하여 실천의 과정에서 고려되어야 하는 것은 첫째 위기의 복합 요인으로서 계급·환경/생태·성 모순을 분명하게 인식하고 둘째 최종적인 차원에서 삶과 사회의 불안정성을 다중적으로 조건짓고 지지하고 있는, 종속적이고 초과수탈적인 체제를 지속시키는 모순에 대한 충분한 고려가 필요할 것이다. 그 해소의 가능성이 경험적인 차원에서 계속해서 좌절된다고 할지라도, 인식 또는 사유의 차원에서라도 실현 가능한 것으로서 끊임없이 재고할 필요성은 충분할 것이다.

영어초록

This research was based on inductive theorems regarding a tendency towards the practice of community culture and its character. Firstly, the layers of crisis perception that function as the impetus for the practice were analyzed and the character of the layers was discussed. Secondly, several recent examples of alternative discourses(commons and anthropocene[or capitalocene/chthulucene]) were reviewed to identify the structure of diversity and complexity of the alternative discourses. Finally, despite the differences among these various and complex alternative discourses, how they can be concluded and connected to one another was considered.
The recent common tendency to alternative concepts and thinking is to critically reflect on humanism and capitalism at the fundamental level. The alternative concepts and thinking tend to be highly comprehensive and complex with a mixture of various perspectives and perceptions.
Crises and alternatives are likely to be accompanied by capitalism. Crises and alternatives seem to be differently emphasized depending on differences in perception of problematic situations. Ultimately, crises and alternatives can enable contradictions, which are caused by the capitalist system, to be revealed and combined.
However, feudal scenes that discourage the practice of community culture and generate contradictions would be problematic. In order to cope with this problematic situation, two aspects of contradiction should be considered in the process of practicing community culture. Firstly, contradictions in class, gender, environments and ecology, as complex factors of crises, should be clearly recognized. In addition, more adequate consideration needs to be given to the following two types of contradictions: one that conditions and supports the instability of life and society in multiple ways at the final stage, and one that maintains dependent and over-plundering systems.
Continuous attempts to resolve these contradictions seem to fail at the empirical level. However, the possibility of resolving the contradictions should be constantly considered as feasible in terms of recognition or thinking.
