초록

디트리히 본회퍼의 교회이해는 어떠한 공동체를 지향하는가? 본회퍼에게 교회는 그리스도 안에서, 그리스도를 통한 실재화(Die Realisierung)와 성령을 통한 활성화(Die Aktualisierung)를 통해서 설립되고, 공동체로 존재하는 그리스도(Christus als Gemeinde existierend)를 대리하는 ‘사랑의 공동체(Liebesgemeinschaft)’의 현실이다. 본회퍼에 의하면, 사랑의 공동체는 ‘타자를 위한 자기포기’, ‘타자를 위한 기도’, ‘타자를 위한 용서’가 실제로 일어나는 공동체이다. 필자는 『성도의 교제』를 중심으로 사랑의 공동체에 관한 이론적 담론을 마련하고, 본회퍼의 삶과, 다른 저작들 속에서 사랑의 공동체의 현실인 ‘(자기)포기’, ‘기도’, ‘용서’에 관한 실천적 담론들이 어떻게 논의되었는지 고찰한 후, 이를 종합하여 교회 공동체 교육을 위한 하나의 현실적합한 대안과 모델로 삼고자 한다. 세상을 떠나 하나님 앞에 홀로 섰던 단독자는 ‘사랑의 공동체’의 성도가 되어 공동체로 존재하는 예수 그리스도와 함께 다시 세상 속으로 나아가야 한다. 본회퍼는 오늘 한국교회의 교육이 과연 어디에 초점을 맞추어야 하는지 강조하면서 제안한다. 그는 한국교회에 교회만을 위한 교육이 아니라, ‘타자를 위한’ 교육을 말한다. ‘사랑의 공동체’라는 본회퍼의 교회이해의 이론적 담론과, 타자를 위한 포기, 기도, 용서라는 사랑의 공동체인 교회의 구체적인 실천적 담론은, 오늘 우리에게 시의적절하고 현실적합한 교회공동체 교육의 대안과 모델이 될 수 있다. 본회퍼의 ‘교회론적 공동체 교육’을 통해 소비지향적 사회에서의 ‘경제공동체교육’, 능력주의에 맞서는 ‘교육정의’, 마을 공동체에 교회론적 디아코니아 설립을 위한 ‘몸의 기도 교육’, 역사의 죄, 혐오와 증오를 소멸시키기 위해 ‘저항의 용서’를 통한 ‘정의, 질서, 평화교육’, ‘순종의 용서’를 통한 ‘화해, 통일, 환대교육’이라는 21세기의 새로운 공동체적 교육의 모델을 마련할 수 있을 것이다. ‘타자를 위한 공동체 교육’을 통해 타자를 위한 교회를 설립하고, 나아가 이 땅위에 다양한 형태의 ‘사랑의 공동체’가 생성되고, 본회퍼의 삶과 신학의 다양한 이론적, 실천적 담론들을 통해 한국사회가 타자를 위한 사회가 될 수 있도록 돕는 더욱 발전적인 후속연구들을 기대한다.

영어초록

What kind of community is Dietrich Bonhoeffer is oriented toward in his understanding of the Church? For him, the Church represents the reality of "Community of Love(Liebesgemeinschaft)" that is established through the realization(Die Realisierung) through and in Christ and through the actualization(Die Aktualisierung) of Holy Spirit, exists in the form of community, and substitutes Christ existing as a church-community(Christus als Gemeinde existierend). According to Bonhoeffer, Community of Love witnesses the real happening of self-renouncing as an active work "for the neighbor“(Die entsagungswolle, tätige Arbeit für den Nächsten), intercessory prayers "for" others(Fürbittegebet), and the "mutual" forgiveness of sins in God's name(das gegenseitige Spenden der Sündenvergebung im Namen Gottes). The investigator set out to establish a theoretical discourse about Community of love with a focus on Sanctorum Communio by Bonhoeffer, examine how practice discourses about "(self)-renouncing," "prayer," and "forgiveness," which represent the reality in Community of Love, in his life and other works, and put them together to find an alternative and model suitable for the reality for the education of Church Community. A single individual that leaves the world behind and stands before God by him or herself should be a believer in "Community of Love" and march back into the world along with "Christ existing as a church-community." Bonhoeffer emphasizes and proposes what the education of Korean Church today should focus on. He talks about education "for others" in addition to education only for the Church to the Korean Church. "Community of Love," which is Bonhoeffer's theoretical discourse to understand the Church, and renouncing, prayer, and forgiveness for others, which are the Church's specific practical discourses as Community of love, can be a timely alternative and model for the education of Church Community suitable for the reality. Bonhoeffer's "ecclesiological community education" can help to establish a new model for community education in the 21st century such as "economic community education" in a consumption-oriented society, "educational justice" against meritocracy, "prayer education for the body" to set up an ecclesiastical Diakonia in the village community, "justice, order, and peace education" through "forgiveness of resistance" to terminate the sin, disgust, and of history," and "reconciliation, unification, and hospitality education" through "forgiveness of obedience." The present study will hopefully be followed by more developmental follow-up studies to build a church for others through "community education for others," establish "Communities of Love" in various forms on this land, and help the Korean society become a society for others through the diverse theoretical and practical discourses of Bonhoeffer's life and theology.
