청각장애 청소년 체육교사의 피지컬 리터러시 의미 탐색 (Exploring the Meaning of Physical Literacy in Physical Education Teachers for Adolescents with Hearing Impairment)

초록

본 연구는 청각장애 청소년을 대상으로 체육수업을 지도하는 체육 교사의 경험을 바탕으로 하여 피지컬 리터러시의 의미를 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상자는 목적 표집을 통해 선정된 지도자 12명을 대상으로 반구조화된 질문지를 통해 심층 면담을 시행하였으며, 자료 분석 결과 다음과 같은 결론이 도출되었다. 우선 청각장애 청소년을 대상으로 한 체육수업에서 중점을 두는 요소로는 첫째, 단순 청각장애 청소년과 중복 장애 학생들을 위한 수업 난이도 조절과 둘째, 수업의 이해를 높이기 위해 수어만으로 이해가 어려운 운동 기술과 규칙 등에 대한 영상매체 활용을 강조하였다. 청각장애 청소년의 피지컬 리터러시 역량에 대한 체육 교사의 인식에 대한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신체적 영역에서는 청각장애 청소년의 신체적 역량 강화를 위해 다양한 교수법과 체육 환경의 변화를 강조하였다. 둘째, 심리적 영역에서는 체육 지도 시 동기유발과 성취감 증진을 통해 청각장애 청소년의 심리적 역량 강화의 필요성을 강조하였다. 셋째, 인지적 영역에서는 청각장애 청소년의 인지적 역량 강화를 위해 스포츠 경기의 용어적인 이해와 기술 동작에 대한 이해를 강조하였다. 넷째, 사회적 영역에서는 수업 중 의사소통 문제로 발생하는 상황에 대한 중재 노력과 중복 장애 청소년과 단순 청각장애 청소년 간의 조화를 강조하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of physical literacy based on the experiences of physical education teachers who teach physical education to adolescents with hearing-impairment. The subjects of the study were 12 instructors
selected through purposive sampling, and in-depth interviews were conducted based on a semi-structured questionnaire and the results were as follows. First, the elements that are focused on in physical education classes for adolescents with hearing-impairement are as follows: first, adjusting the difficulty of classes for adolescents with simple hearing impairment and students with multiple disabilities; second, using visual media for sports skills and rules that are difficult to understand with sign language alone to enhance the understanding of classes. The conclusions on physical education teachers’ perceptions of the physical literacy capabilities of hearing-impaired adolescents are as follows. First, in the physical domain, various teaching methods and changes in the physical education environment were emphasized to enhance the physical capabilities of hearing-impaired adolescents. Second, in the psychological domain, the need to enhance the psychological capabilities of hearing-impaired adolescents by inducing motivation and increasing a sense of accomplishment during physical education instruction was emphasized. Third, in the cognitive domain, the terminological understanding of sports games and understanding of technical movements are emphasized to enhance the cognitive capabilities of hearing-impaired adolescents. Fourth, in the social domain, efforts is necessary to mediate situations that arise due to communication problems during class and to promote harmony between adolescents with multiple disabilities and adolescents with simple hearing impairment.
