초록

This paper is to investigate the purpose, aspects and effects of the introduction the narrative elements as the main feature in children’s information books. First, we analyzed characters, events and background of space and time to investigate a narrative element of books for information.
First, To sum up the effects of the introduction of narrative distance, The distance with reader is shortened. The dialogue is possible to ask a question. Therefore it can lead to active involvement and curiosity of the reader. If you personify the main materials it is advantage to make dialogue format. But it has constraint which is likely to increase the difficulty of the information due to limiting of related information only.
Next, it generates the correlation between information and stories or writer’s opinion, First is change of the amount of the text information.
Descriptive text is at a loss much descriptive. On the other hand, if fiction is introducing, it is used with less information for explanation.
In addition, the narrative is easy to describe the opinion of the author.
Finally, the fictional narrative makes the impact for the reader. First, connected memory takes place. Information when the information is provided in the story format is easy to remember.
For a full narrative, it can be effective for memory of reader when information is well combined with the narrative. In addition, the information book with fiction leads not only to deliver simple fact but also to appeal reader’s emotion. This produces the effect of improving the scientific sensibility.
