미래세대를 위한 기독교교육 실천으로서의 ‘참 자기’형성 및 촉진 모델 탐구 (A Study on Exploring of 'Real Self' and Suggesting a Model for theFormation and Facilitating of 'Real Self' as the Praxis of Christian Education for the Next Generation)

초록

현대사회에서 기독교교육의 과제는 우리의 미래세대가 자신들의 삶을 성숙한 인격과 신앙의 기초 위에서 포괄적이고 통합적인 일관된 인생관을 가지고 활기 있고 의미 있게 자발적으로 살아갈 수 있도록 돕는 일이 되어야 한다는 것이 연구자의 교육적 입장이다. 이러한 교육적 입장에서 연구자는 미래 세대를 위한 기독교교육 실천으로서 미래 세대의 ‘참 자기’ 형성 및 촉진이 왜 요구되는지, 그것의 필요성은 무엇인지를 기독교교육에 대한 비판적 성찰을 토대로 질문하였다. 이 질문에 대한 응답으로서 연구자는 ‘참 자기’가 생애 최초의 시기부터 청소년기에 이르기까지 어떻게 발달하는지, ‘참 자기’의 능력에는 어떤 것이 있는지, 어떤 환경에서 ‘참 자기’를 확인하고 표출하게 되는지, 통합된 신앙인격으로서의 ‘참 자기’ 형성 및 촉진에 있어서 어머니와 교사의 역할은 어떠해야 하는지를 제시하였다. 이와 같은 질문과 응답의 탐색과정을 거쳐 연구자는, 미래 세대의 ‘참 자기’를 형성하고 촉진시킬 수 있는 모델을 위한 교육 목표, 교육 과제 및 내용을 재구성하는 작업을 하였으며, 기독교교육 현장에서 미래 세대의 ‘참 자기’ 형성 및 촉진 모델을 실천하기 위한 제언을 함으로써 미래 세대를 위한 기독교교육적 실천을 지향하는 여정을 마무리하였다.

영어초록

This paper aims to explore 'Real Self' and the way of formation and facilitating of 'Real Self' of the next generation, furthermore, to suggest a model for the formation and facilitating of 'Real Self' as the praxis of christian education for the next generation. This paper is based on the critical reflections of today's socio-psychological situation. Most of our children and adolescence are lived in languish, empty and spiritless mood. They are suffering from depression, addiction to internet game and a suicide impulse. For overcoming these phenomena which are spread over whole phases of our societies, this paper suggests to form and facilitate 'Real Self'(which is a whole personality including christian faith) of our children and adolescence.
With a critical reflections of today's socio-psychological situation, this work explores 'Real Self' and suggests 'Real Self' model as the praxis of christian education for the next generation. In this paper 4 questions are asked. The first question is "What is 'Real Self', and why we put great emphasis on the necessity of the formation and facilitating of 'Real Self'?". The second question is "What is the crucial elements for the formation and facilitating of 'Real Self'?". The third question is "Why we ask for the formation and facilitating of 'Real Self' as the praxis of christian education, and whose role is crucial for the formation and facilitating of 'Real Self' of next generation?". The last one is "How can we make and suggest a model for the formation and facilitating of 'Real Self' as the praxis of christian education for the next generation?"According to 4 questions, this paper is proceeding with 4 subtitles like these: (1)the development of 'Real Self' and the importance of the mother's role in the pre-oedipal phase in the light of object relation theory of M. Klein, D. Winnicott and M. Mahler (2)the capacities of 'Real Self' with relevance of maturation of personality and faith in the light of theory of D. Winnicott, W. W. Meissner and J. F. Masterson (3)necessities of 'Real Self' as the praxis of christian education and the importance of teacher's role as a facilitator of 'Real Self' (4)making and suggesting a model(which contains the purpose, tasks and contents) for the formation and facilitating of 'Real Self' as the praxis of christian education for the next generation.
In conclusion, this paper gives 5 suggestions. First, christian education should begin at person's very early stage for forming and facilitating 'Real Self'(which enables our children and adolescence to live meaningful, joyful and faithful way). Second, christian education for the next generation should be practiced in home, and parents education should be provided considerably to christian parents including emphasis on the role of mother as a primary object for infant. Thirdly, teachers education should be provided profoundly to christian teachers for emphasizing on the role of teacher who influences from children to adolescence. Fourthly, to practice a model effectively requests the critical reflections and reconstruction on the process of teaching and learning. Finally, Applying a model to the concrete christian education field needs to develope contents, tasks and methods of 'Real Self' model. Therefore, further research is required in the level of denomination and ultra-denomination.
