4차 산업혁명 AI시대 인성교육의 방법과 전망 (Study on the Method and Prospect of Personality Education in AI Era of the 4th Industrial Revolution)

초록

본 논문은 한중인문학회와 중국 대련민족대학이 개최한 제42회 한중인문학회 국제학술대회 <제4차 산업혁명 배경 하에서의 인문학 발전방향과 국제협력>의 주제 아래 철학분과 주제발표를 수정보완하였다. 본 논문의 차제는 문제제기와 제언/ 孔孟의 人性敎育과 方法/ 의의와 전망이다. 발제와 토론이후 21세기 현재 AI시대는 시작되어 진행중이며, 우리 삶의 편리성에 더해져 위험성을 지니고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 인문학의 인성교육적 입장에서 실제적인 AI를 진단하였다. 4차 산업혁명 AI시대는 사물의 연결성(connectivity)을 시작으로 한 새로운 범주의 강력한 지능(intelligence)이 대두되어 지속적으로 진화할 것이다. 결국 이러한인성교육의 논의와 전망은 인간에게 단순 편리성을 제공하는 것이 아니라 새로운 통찰을 제시하는 방향으로 미래를 설계할 때이다.
Robot은 인간의 창조물이고, Robot에 대한 윤리적 기준의 부여 또한 인간이 판단하는 것이다. 본 논문에서의 진단은 AI가 내린 결론은 어디까지나 참고 의견일 뿐이다. 전문가들의의경은 대개 그대로 받아들여도 문제없지만 반드시 정답이라고 할 수 없다.
결론으로 AI와의 공존 및 조절통제는 현 존재상 인간만이 판단가능하며, 인성교육의 선심(善心) 공자의 인과 맹자의 사단지심의 확이충지 및 호연지기, 퇴계의 리발(理發), 율곡의 교기질(嬌氣質) 등은 여전히 우리에게 유효한 인성방법 중의 하나이다. 다만 그것은 어떻게 적용하고 활용해야만 선심(善心)일수 있는가에 대한 대답이 부족할 뿐이다. 우리 인간본성의 도덕률은 항상 양심 및 불안감이 교차하며, 우리의 말 및 행동을 조절 통제한다. 이 땅의 유학자와 선비들은 항상 긍정적인 순기능을 실천하고, ‘남에게 피해를 주지 말라’는 이론과 실천의지행합일을 묵수하였다. 이러한 덕목의 순기능은 타인에 대한 용서와 사랑의 배려로 나타난 다. 사실 이와 같은 덕목의 참모습은 수양공부의 실천, 선비정신 등으로 제시되었다. 특히 공맹이 강조한 덕목의 범주인 역지사지(易地思之)․견득사의(見得思義)·견리사의(見利思義) 등은 AI시대 인성교육의 방법이자 소명의식 및 윤리의식이라고 제언하는 바이다.

영어초록

This research corrected and complemented the philosophical part and theme presentation under the subject, <The Liberal Arts Development Plan and International Collaboration in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution> of the 42nd Korea Chinese Liberal Arts Association International Symposium, held by Korea Chinese Liberal Arts Association and China Dalian National University.
The subjects of this research are problem presentation and suggestion/ Confucius(孔孟)’ personality education(人性敎育) and method(方法)/ significance and prospect. Since the problem presentation and discussion, it was determined that AI era has begun and is ongoing in the 21st century, which has dangerous points adding convenience to our lives. Accordingly, this research diagnosed the actual AI based on the personality education of liberal arts. In the AI era of the 4th industrial revolution, a strong intelligence in a new category will appear and continuously evolve when it begins with connectivity with things.
Eventually, such discussion and prospect of personality education requires a direction to suggest a new future-oriented insight, instead of providing a mere convenience.
Robot is created by human being, and the ethical standard given to it should be judged by human being. Diagnosis of this research regarding the conclusion based on AI is just a hint. There’s no problem to accept experts’ advice, however experts are not always correct.
In conclusion, coexistence with AI and adjustment control can be judged only by human beings, considering current existence, also, Seonsim(善心) of personality education, Confucius’ benevolence and Mencius’ Hwagichungji of Sadanjisim and Hoyeonjigi, Toegye’s Libal(理發), Yulgok’s Gyogijil(嬌氣質) are still effective methods of personality education. Nevertheless, there’s insufficient answer to the question to apply and utilize them to make Seonsim(善心). Morality of human nature is always mixed with conscience and anxiety, which adjusts and controls our words and behaviors. Confucian scholars and classical scholars of Korea always practiced positive proper function and adhered to Jihaenghabil in theory and reality, regarding ‘Do not harm the others’. Proper function of such virtue is expressed through forgiveness and affectionate consideration for the other persons. Actually, true aspect of such virtue appeared through practice of cultivation and classical scholar’s spirit, etc. Particularly, the researcher suggests that Yeokjisaji (易地思之)․ Gyeondeuksaui (見得思義)·Gyeonrisaui (見利思義), which are the virtues emphasized by Confucius and Mencius, are the methods of personality education, vocation, and ethics.
