초록

이 논문은 4차 산업혁명시대에 사회인이자 직업인으로 살아가야 할 청년들에게 대학을 포함한 사회가 어떠한 진로교육을 제공해야 할지를 탐색하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 4차 산업혁명이 어떻게 인간의 환경과 생활을 변화시키고 있으며 어떤 측면에서 패러다임 시프트를 요구하는지 살펴보고 평생직업 개념이 사라지는 직업생태계의 변화를 탐색한 후 4차 산업혁명 변화가 낳은 여러 측면의 다양성에 대해 고찰하였다.
결론적으로 4차 산업혁명시대 진로교육은 다문화역량 증진을 위한 문화다양성교육과 인간중심 사고의 함양 그리고 이들을 적시에 연결시키는 방법으로서 평생교육의 조합이 필요하다. 우선 4차 산업혁명 특성에 맞춘 문화다양성교육이다. 4차 산업혁명은 제조업 등 산업 환경에서 지식과 기술 중심의 변화로 시작되었지만 궁극적으로는 사회･문화 전반의 혁명이라고 할 수 있으며 그 어느 때보다 다양한 문화적 환경을 형성하였다. 4차 산업혁명을 이끄는 도구는 과학기술이 될 수 있겠지만, 4차 산업혁명의 내용인 컨텐츠는 다양성과 유연성의 폭과 깊이에 좌우될 것이다.
둘째는 인간중심교육이다. 인간의 생각의 변화는 시장과 산업의 변화를 만들어내고 신기술은 인간의 창의성을 현실로 구현하도록 해주며 인간의 행복의 영역을 확장시켜주고 있다. 따라서 인공지능을 개발할 때 그 인공지능에게 교육을 시키는 주체인 인간의 의도와 수준은 매우 중요하다. 새로운 시대적 요구를 반영한 인간존중과 디지털시민성 등을 포함하는 새로운 유형의 인간중심교육이 필요하다.
마지막은 이러한 교육을 구현하기 위한 방법으로서의 평생교육이다. 과학기술의 발전과 학문의 융합은 지식의 넓이뿐만 아니라 깊이의 확대를 동시에 요구하고, 신기술의 등장으로 기존 생활방식과 지식의 가치는 변화되어 간다. 시장의 변화에 적극적으로 적응하여 삶의 질을 높이고 경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는 끝없는 학습과 재교육이 불가피하다. 평생학습을 전제로 한 진로교육은 일생 동안 맞닥뜨리게 될 수많은 변화에 대한 결정의 순간에 현명한 선택을 하는데 도움을 주는 나침반과 같은 교육이 되어야 할 것이다

This paper examines the effects of the characteristics of the 4th Industrial Revolution era(such as super-connections, super-convergence and super- intelligence) on career education and what capacity is needed for young generation to live as professionals in this age. And explore what type of education should be provided.
To do this, I look at how the 4th Industrial Revolution is changing the human life and environment, and in what ways we demand a paradigm shift. After exploring the changes in the occupational system where the concept of lifelong job disappears, the diversity of the various aspects of the 4th industrial revolution has been examined In conclusion, career education in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution requires a combination of cultural diversity education for promoting multicultural competence, human-centered thinking, and lifelong education as a just-in-time education. First, it is cultural diversity education adapted to the characteristics of the 4th Industrial Revolution. The 4th Industrial Revolution started with knowledge and technology-oriented changes in the industrial environment such as manufacturing, but ultimately it is a revolution in society and culture as a whole, and it has formed a more diverse cultural environment than ever before. The tools that lead to the 4th Industrial Revolution may be science and technology, but the contents will depend on the breadth and depth of diversity and flexibility.
The second is human-centered education. The change of human thought creates the changes of market and industry, the new technology makes human creativity realistic and extends the area of ​​human happiness. Therefore, when developing artificial intelligence, the intention and level of human being, which is the subject of education for artificial intelligence, is very important. There is a need for a new type of human - centered education that includes human respect and digital citizenship reflecting the demands of the new era.
The last is lifelong education, which is a way to implement such education. The development of science and technology and the convergence of scholars require the expansion of depth as well as the extent of knowledge at the same time, Endless learning and retraining are inevitable in order to actively adapt to changes in the field and to enhance the quality of life and competitiveness.
With the advent of new technologies, the value of existing lifestyles and knowledge is changing. Career education on the premise of lifelong learning should be a compass-like education that helps make wise choices in the moments of decision-making about the many changes that will be encountered throughout life.
