한국과 중국의 문화마을 재생 디자인에 대한 보고 - 감천문화마을과 징더전 산바오마을을 중심으로 - (A Research on the Regeneration of Cultural Villages in Korea and China - Focusing on Gamcheon Cultural Village and Jingdezhen Sanbao Village -)

초록

도시의 대규모 개발로 인해 역사적 기억이 희미해지면서 도시 고유의 지역적 특색도 점차 사라지고 있다. 문화마을은 도시 발전의 증인이자 역사와 기억을 간직한 곳이다. 문화마을의 재생과 발전은 도시의 경제 건설과도 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 도시 이미지를 개선하는 열쇠이기도 하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 한국과 중국의 대표적 문화마을을 연구대상으로 삼아 문화마을 재생 디자인의 방법론을 탐구해보고자 한다. 본 논문은 문헌 고찰을 통해 양국의 문화마을과 재생 디자인의 기본 개념을 비교함과 동시에 이론적 연구와 사례연구 분석을 위한 틀을 마련하고, 문화마을의 재생 디자인을 물질적 범주와 비물질적 범주로 분류한 후 2000년 이후 한국과 중국의 대표적인 문화마을 재생 디자인 사례를 분석하였다. 중국은 징더전 산바오마을, 한국은 ‘한국의 산토리니’로 불리며 좋은 평판을 얻고 있는 감천문화마을을 연구대상으로 삼았다. 두 문화마을의 재생 디자인 전후의 재생 디자인 효과와 두 문화마을 재생 디자인의 물질적, 비물질적 특성을 각각 정리했다. 감천문화마을은 역사적 특징을 복원(옛것을 옛것답게 수리)하여 다양한 문화예술 공간을 조성하고, 산바오마을은 마을 부지를 기반으로 새로운 마을과 커뮤니티를 개발하여 새로운 문화를 담는 공간을 조성하며, 산바오펑 예술 공간을 새롭게 조성(옛것을 수리하고 새로 짓는 것)하는 등 물질적 형태 디자인에 더 많은 에너지를 쏟고 있다. 두 나라의 사례를 비교하면서 문화마을 재생 디자인 과정에서 마을 구조 보존, 마을 환경 최적화, 지역경제 활성화, 지역문화 홍보, 주민의 생산 활동 조직화 등이 모두 재생 디자인의 중요한 부분이며, 문화마을 발전의 핵심 경쟁력은 마을문화의 발전과 혁신에 있다는 사실을 발견했다. 본 연구를 통하여 한국과 중국의 문화마을 재생 디자인에 대한 유용한 정보와 통찰을 제공할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영어초록

As historical memory fades in the massive development of cities, the unique regional characteristics of cities are gradually disappearing. Cultural villages are witnesses to urban development and carriers of memory. The regeneration and development of cultural villages is related to the economic construction of the city, and it is also the key to improve the image of the city. Therefore, this paper takes the cultural villages in Korea and China as the research object and studies the method of cultural village regeneration design. This paper compares the basic concepts of cultural villages and regeneration design between the two countries through literature combing, and at the same time establishes a framework for theoretical research and case study analysis, and classifies the regeneration design of cultural villages into material and non-material categories; and then selects representative cultural village regeneration design case studies from Korea and China since 2000, with China choosing the Sanbao Village of Jingdezhen, and South Korea choosing the 'Santorini Village', which enjoys a good reputation in Korea. China chose Sanbao Village in Jingdezhen, and Korea chose Gamcheon Cultural Village, which is known as 'Santorini' in Korea, for case analysis, and sorted out the effect of regeneration design before and after the regeneration design of the two cultural villages as well as the characteristics of the material and immaterial characteristics of the regeneration design of the two cultural villages respectively. Restoring the historical features of the Gamcheon Cultural Village (repairing the old as the old) to create a variety of cultural and artistic spaces; Chinese cultural villages are based on the village site, developing new villages and communities to create a new cultural carrying space, and spending more energy on material form design, such as building a new Sanbao Pong art space (repairing the old and building the new). Comparing the cases of the two countries, the authors found that in the process of regeneration design of cultural villages, preserving the village structure, optimizing the village environment, revitalizing the local economy, promoting the local culture, and organizing the production activities of the residents are all important parts of regeneration design, and that the core competitiveness of the development of cultural villages lies in the development of the village culture and its innovation. Therefore, the authors hope that by analyzing the regeneration design of cultural villages in Korea and China, they can provide experience for the regeneration design of cultural villages in both countries.
