동적 가족화를 통한 정신지체아와 일반아의 가족지각 특성 비교 (The Comparisons of the Characteristics of Family Awareness between Children with Mental Retardation and Normal Children by Kinetic Family Drawing)

초록

본 연구는 정신지체아와 일반아를 대상으로 동적가족화의 특성을 비교 분석하여 정신지체아의 가족지각 특성을 분석하기 위하여 실시되었다. 특수학급에 재학중인 경도 정신지체아 100명과 정신지체아와 동일한 정신연령을 가진 유치원아 100명을 무선표집하여 모두 200여명의 아동을 대상으로 하였다. 동적가족화를 통한 분석 결과에서 정신지체아는 가족 의존도가 일반아에 비해 높으며 가족인지 특성은 경직되어 있다. 그러나 가족지각 특성은 일반아와 유사하게 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 동적가족화 분석과 비교를 통하여 정신지체아의 가족에 대한 이해 특성을 이해할 수 있는 시사점을 제시하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics of the family awareness between children with mental retardation and normal children by KFD. Two hundred children, one hundred mental retarded and one hundred normal children who were aged through four to six years old in mental age were participated. The subjects were drawn the family action including her or himself on paper with pencil. The results were followed: (a) The children with mental retardation indicated higher dependence scores to family than those of the normal children. The children with mental retardation had higher dependence to their mother than father, and the children with mental retardation had negative impression to their father. (b) The children with mental retardation possessed more rigid awareness and expression than those of the normal children. The children with mental retardation expressed dependant characteristics in communication modes instead of their independable decision rather that collaborate relationships. (c) The two groups drew their father first, then mother, and themselves lastly. However, there were any differences the isolation characteristics from their families in two groups. It means that the children with mental retardation had more positive awareness to isolation characteristics than those of the normal children. And, (d) the children with mental retardation expressed more negative in personality characteristics of their families than those of the normal children. It means that the children with mental retardation skipped or drew the family members insufficiently.
