초록

디자인 프로세스란 주어진 문제를 창조적으로 해결하는 도구이자 방법으로 “창조적인 해결과정을 통해목표를 달성하기 위한 문제해결의 중요과정” 즉, “문제해결 능력”이라고 할 수 있다. 디자인 문제해결에 있어서 문제의 이해는 디자이너로 하여금 디자인해야 할문제가 무엇인지를 정확히 정의내리고 문제의 성격을이해하여 해결안의 종합과 평가 등 그 다음 단계를 위한 단계로서 무엇보다 중요한 과정인 것이다.
본 연구는 논리적이고 과학적인 문제해결 방법론인트리즈의 모순해결법을 적용해 다양한 종류의 문제를해결 할 수 있는 새로운 개념의 디자인 문제해결 개념모델을 제안하는데 그 목적이 있었으며, 본 연구에서는 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 기존문헌을 토대로 문제의 원인뿐 아니라 문제의 해법까지 제시해 주는 과학적이고 체계적인 접근법으로 창의적 발상을 하고자하는 트리즈의 개념 및 특성, 모순 해결법의 전반적인내용과 함께 디자인 문제 해결을 하는데 있어서 기존기법의 문제와 한계점 및 트리즈와의 연계 가능성을고찰하였으며, 문제를 기술적 모순으로 모델링하여 디자인 문제를 해결하는 트리즈를 적용한 디자인 문제해결 개념 모델을 제안하고 사례분석을 진행하였다.
이러한 사례 분석을 통하여 첫째, 문제해결에 필요한방법을 효과적으로 찾아내 해결방안으로의 적용이 가능하므로 목표 지향적이고 창의적인 아이디어를 빠른시간에 효과적으로 전개 할 수 있으며, 둘째, 문제의핵심 원인을 찾는 새로운 방법을 적용함으로써 디자인문제 해결에 있어서 보다 효과적이고 다양한 아이디어가 도출 가능하며, 셋째, 문제에 대한 구체적인 해답을제시해 주는 것이 아닌 경험하지 못하거나 알지 못했던 영역의 지식을 트리즈를 통해 이용할 수 있게 도와줌으로써 디자인 문제를 창의적으로 해결해 나갈 수있음을 확인 할 수 있었다.
이러한 연구 결과로부터 기존의 제품 디자인 프로세스에 있어 “문제 인식”요소의 결핍에 따른 문제점을파악하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 트리즈의 기술적 모순을 접목한 디자인 문제해결 프로세스는 디자인 문제해결에 있어 효과적으로 적용될 수 있으며, 과학적 방법론인 트리즈와 디자인의 융합이라는 측면에서 디자인 영역에 있어 긍정적 영향을 미칠것으로 기대되어 진다.

영어초록

Design process represents the tool and method forthe creative resolution of certain problems and can bedefined to be important process of problem resolutionvital for achieving the goals or objectives through thecreative resolution process, i.e., the problem-resolvingability. In resolving the design issues, the understandingof concerned issues or problems is a crucially importantpart of the process in which the designer can clearlyidentify the issue of design and determine thecharacteristics of the concerned design issue andsubsequently put together and evaluate the solutions.
The purpose of this study was to present thenew-concept design issue resolution concept model thatcan resolve various kinds of problems by applying theconflict resolution method of Triz, a logical and scientificproblem resolution methodology. To achieve theobjective of this study, this researcher examined thelimitation of existing techniques and explored thepossibility of linkage with Triz in the resolution of designissues, as well as the causes of problems based on theexisting literatures, along with overall aspects of conflictresolution methodology, concept and characteristics ofTriz capable of promoting creative conception based onscientific and systematic approach that presents even thesolution to problem and, and furthermore, presented thedesign issue resolution concept model incorporating theTriz that can resolve various design issues based on themodeling of problems through technical conflict, andadditionally, conducted the case analysis.
Through observing these cases, purpose-drivenand creative ideas can be processed and developedwithin a short period of time as it is possible to figureout and apply the methods and approaches necessaryto tackle the problems. Secondly, by applying newapproaches in finding the root cause of the problem, itfacilitates the deduction of possible and more valuablesolutions to endeavor effective and creative ideas.
Thirdly, rather than focusing on giving a fixed,short-cut answer, it has been found to open doors totackle the design problems and complications throughthe application of Triz in less well-known.
Based on the results of this study, the problemsarising from the lack of problem recognition element inthe existing product design process were identified. Toresolve such problems, the design issue resolutionprocess that applies the technical conflict of Triz wasfound to be effectively applicable to the design issueresolution, and furthermore, its applicability to thedesign sector was confirmed from the perspective ofconvergence or fusion between Triz, a scientificmethodology, and design.
