대전지역에 있어서 원삼국시대 주거지 입지의 최적환경 (The Optimum Environment of the Location of the Dwelling Site during the Proto Three Kingdoms Period in Daejeon Area)

초록

본 연구목적은 대전지역에 있어서 원삼국시대 주거지(이하 주거지) 입지의 최적환경을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위하여 현재까지 조사지역에서 발견된 총 417기의 주거지들을 대상으로 표고, 경사도, 用水河川距離 및 用水河床比高를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 주거지들은 복운모화강암으로 구성된 구릉의 평탄지(또는 완경사지)에 입지한다. 대부분의 주거지들은 표고 70-78m, 82-94m, 100-102m 그리고 경사도 7° 미만에 분포한다. 주거지들로부터 1-2차 하천(소규모 하천)까지의 용수하천거리는 약 114m이고 3차하천 이상(중규모 하천)까지의 용수하천거리는 약 422-1,022m이다. 또한, 주거지들로부터 1-2차 하천까지의 용수하상비고는 약 20m이고, 3차수 이상 하천까지의 용수하상비고는 25m이다. 이상으로부터 대전지역에 있어서 원삼국시대 사람들은 주거지의 입지를 선정할 때, 낮은 구릉의 평탄지(또는 완경사지)를 선호했으며 그리고 생업을 위하여 하천으로부터 비교적 멀지 않으며 하천과의 비고차도 크지 않은 곳을 고려했던 것으로 생각된다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to look into the optimum environment of the location of dwelling site during the Proto Three Kingdoms Period (hereinafter referred as dwelling site) in Daejeon Area. For the purpose of this, with the object of total 417 dwelling sites discovered in investigation area so far, analyzed were the altitude, gradient, distance from the river of water available for use and the difference between the highest altitude and lowest altitude of river bed of water available for use. The results are like the following. Dwelling sites are located on flat (or gentle slope) of hills composed of double-mica granite. Most dwelling sites are distributed in the places with the altitude of 70-78m, 82-94m, 100-102m and the slope of less than 7°. Distance from dwelling sites to the 1st-2nd river (small scale river) of the river of water available for use is about 114 m and to the 3rd river or higher (medium scale river) of the river of water available for use is about 422-1,022m. In addition, the difference between the highest altitude and lowest altitude of river bed of water available for use from dwelling sites to the 1st-2nd river is about 20m and the difference between the highest altitude and lowest altitude of river bed of water available for use from dwelling sites to the river of the 3rd or higher is about 25m. From the above, it is thought that the inhabitants in Daejeon Area during the Proto Three Kingdoms Period preferred flat (or gentle slope) on the low hills when they selected the location of dwelling sites and for livelihood they considered the place within comparatively not long distance from the river and the place with not big difference between the highest altitude and lowest altitude of river.
