초록

「종생기」의 산호편 고찰을 위해 4가지 내용을 담았다.
첫째, 「종생기」의 두 자서전을 토대로 탕아 이상의 삶과 문학의 일체화를 논의하고, 산호편을 규명했다. 산호편의 주제는 쓰레기와 우거지의 간음관계인데, 그 본령은 연애소설이 보여준다. 산호편은 유곽에서의 삶과 같은 현실을 삶에서 육화해낸 형태로 폭로하는 글쓰기인데, 이것이 악역(惡疫)을 접신한 무당의 부적으로 명명된다.
둘째, 산호편 주제의 발상 단계를 살핀 후, 이 주제가 도스토예프스키와 고리키의 인텔리겐차와 창녀 주제를 변용해 설정되었음을 밝혔다. 산호편의 남녀는 ‘박제된 천재로서의 쓰레기’와 ‘여왕봉·미망인으로서의 우거지’이다.
셋째, 산호편과 관련된 사상과 식민지 현실의 문제를 고찰했다. 이상은 지식인과 창녀 주제를 산호편의 공통주제로 전면화하는데, 그 이유가 근대 풍경의 핵심으로 이 주제를 추상화해냈으며 한국근대문단을 교란시키고 자립하기 위한 것이었음을 고백한다.
넷째, 산호편의 ‘불의의 양면’과 ‘나’의 삼천갑자로의 변신을 고찰한다. 이상은 산호편의 치정(癡情)을 정치(情痴)로 표현하는 언어유희로 그 불의의 양면이 식민지 종주국과 피식민지의 상호관계를 겨냥한 것임을 드러낸다. 한편 죽은 ‘나’는 삼천갑자로 변신, 환생하는데 이는 죽음 후 문학의 생을 위한 기획이다.
이상은 산호편의 내용과 본의를 독자들이 궁구하고 통찰하도록 이끌기 위해 「종생기」를 기호론적 독해를 요구하는 자기소개서로 만들어 죽음 이후 독자와의 문학적 대결을 예비해놓는다.

영어초록

Four important research contents were included for the purpose of reviewing Jongsaenggi coral whip. First, through the two autobiographies of the Jongsaenggi, explains the plan of unification of Lee Sang's life and literature as a debauchee, and examined the concept, theme, and purpose of the coral whip. The theme of coral whip is the adultery relationship between rubbish and outer leaves, and the works showing the proper function of coral whip are Lee Sang's love stories. Lee Sang's coral whip is a writing that reveals the realities and truths of the life of those days, embodying the reality of modern or colonial modernity like bawdy house, which is named as the shaman's talismans.
The second is to look at the origin of theme of Lee Sang's coral whip and explain that this theme is a modification of the themes of Dostoevsky and Gorky's literature. In the Jongsaenggi, Lee Sang's coral whip theme is found to be a modification of Dostoevsky and the intellectuals and prostitutes of Gorky's literature. The intellectuals and prostitutes of Lee Sang's coral whip are the 'rubbish as a stuffed genius' and 'outer leaves as a queen bee or a widow', these are the naked lives of Giorgio Agamben.
The third explains the Lee Sang coral whip's foundation by examining Lee Sang's ideas about the coral whip and the problems of the colonial reality. The themes of intellectuals and prostitutes are a common theme of Lee Sang's coral whip. Lee Sang confesses that the reason for making this subject a common theme in his coral whip was to find the subject of the adultery relationship between intellectuals and prostitutes as the core of modern and colonial modern landscapes and to disturb and support oneself Korean modern literary circles.
The fourth examines the 'both sides of injustice' of the coral whip and my transformation into Dongfang Shuo who lived for the three thousand sexagenary cycles. The theme of the coral whip is the infatuation. Lee Sang shows that in the 19th century way, through a play on words, both sides of injustice of the coral whip represent not only the world of prostitution, but also the relationship between the imperialist state and the colonies. In the Jongsaenggi, I died at a young age, and I transformed my death verdict into an old age, transformed into Dongfang Shuo who lived for the three thousand sexagenary cycles and reincarnated. My transformation and reincarnation is a plan for living as a post - death literature. For this purpose, Lee Sang prepares a literature confrontation with the reader after death by making the Jongsaenggi into an intricate a letter of self-introduction to enable readers to explore and insight the content and purpose of coral whip.
