초록

In the course of the development of architectural art of classical Chinese gardens dec orative windows have gradually become an indispensable part of garden architecture. Decorative window is a decorative hollow window on the garden wall, which can be divided into three types including hole window, floral window and landscape window. The floral window has be come the most representative decorative symbol in the Humble Administrator Garden for its plentiful design and unique aesthetic connotation. The floral window has become the most rep resentative decorative symbol in the Humble Administrator Garden for its plentiful design and unique aesthetic connotation. In this paper, the author studies the design of floral windows in Humble Administrator Garden from the aspects of type, pattern, material and technique, and knows the characteristics of the floral windows with diversity, decoration and culture. The study does not only enrich the decorative art of the floral window, but also contribute to the di versified expression of furniture design works and design ideas. In addition, the author also studies the aesthetic thought of “imagination and reality” contained in the floral windows in the Humble Administrator Garden from the aspects of modeling, landscaping, space, light and shadow. Through the study on the aesthetic thought of the floral window in the Humble Administrator Garden, it provides a theoretical basis for the expansibility of the floral window symbol of classical Chinese garden in furniture design, and enriches the concept of current fur niture design.
