연변 조선족 공동체의 변화와 향후 대책에 관한 제언 (Formation, Changes, and Countermeasures for the Future of the Korean Community in Yanbian)

초록

중국 조선족은 한반도에서 이주해 온 민족으로서 코리안 디아스포라의 한 갈래이며, 오랜 역사 과정을 거쳐 19세기 말엽부터 20세기 초엽에 형성되었다. 연변 조선족은 중국 조선족 공동체의 중요한 구성 부분으로, 연변 지역에 사는 조선족 집합체이다. 중국 조선족은 장기간의 생산활동과 혁명 투쟁 속에 공동의 민족 성격과 심리 상태를 구축하면서 한민족의 동질성을 유지함과 아울러 중국 56개의 민족 중 우수한 민족으로 자리매김하는 데 성공하였다.
연변조선족자치주의 설립, 중국 조선족의 교육과 문화, 신문 방송, 출판, 체육 보건 등 제반 사업의 발전과 활성화로 지난 세기 80년대 말까지 연변 조선족 공동체는 전성기를 구가하였다.
중국 조선족은 일본 제국주의가 패망(1945년 광복)했을 때와 중국의 개혁 개방(1978) 및 중한수교가 성립되었을 때, 두 차례의 민족 대이동을 겪었다. 이로 인해 연변 조선족 공동체도 균열, 변화의 진통을 겪고 있다.
이 글에서는 제1장에 이어, 제2장에서 ‘연변 조선족 공동체의 형성 과정과 요인’을 살펴보고, 제3장에서는 두 차례의 ‘민족 대이동’을 통하여 나타난 ‘연변 조선족 공동체의 변화와 문제점’을 진단해 보기로 한다. 제4장에서는 ‘조선족 공동체 변화에 대한 숙고와 제언’을 통해 ‘조선족 문화 메카’라는 구심점을 통한 정신적 융합의 새로운 진로를 모색해 보기로 한다.

영어초록

The Chinese Koreans are descendants of the Qing nationality who moved from the Korean peninsula and are also a branch of Korean overseas immigrants. Chinese Koreans have a long history which began in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Yanbian Koreans are an important part of the Chinese Korean community and also the important Korean groups living in the Yanbian border.
The Koreans have established national homogeneity and psychological state in long-term production activities and revolutionary struggles. While maintaining the homogeneity of the Korean nation, it has successfully become an outstanding group among the 56 ethnic groups in China.
With the establishment of the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, the Chinese Koreans have developed rapidly in the construction of education, culture, journalism, broadcasting, publishing, sports, health care and other undertakings. In the 1980s, the Yanbian Korean Community and even the Chinese Korean Community entered their heyday.
On the occasion of the demise of Japanese imperialism (liberation in 1945) and China's reform and opening up (in 1978) and the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, the Chinese Koreans experienced two major outbreaks. Therefore, the Korean community in Yanbian is also facing division, disintegration and change.
After the preface to this paper, Chapter two depicts the "The formation process of the Korean community in Yanbian" - from the background and formation factors of the Korean community. Chapter three diagnoses the current and actual situation of the "change of the Korean community in Yanbian" under the background and original dimensions. Lastly, in chapter four, we seek a new way of spiritual integration by seeking the "Korean cultural sacred place" as the spiritual center, through the study of "thinking of the Korean community and future countermeasures".
