초록

살길을 찾아 국경을 넘어 중국 동북지역으로 이주해 온 조선인들은 황무지를 개간하여 경제적 삶의 터전을 마련하였을 뿐만 아니라 삭발역복, 창씨개명에 항쟁하였으며 국권과 민족해방을 위한 반일무장운동도 활발히 전개하였다. 청조시기, 군벌통치, 민국시기, 만주국시기를 거쳐 오면서 자기 민족문화와 정체성을 확고히 지켜왔던 이들은 광복을 맞이하면서 한반도가 아닌 자신의 피땀으로 개척하고 지켜왔던 “제2의 고향”에 남아 있기를 선택하였다. 중국에 남아있기를 원했던 이들은 해방구에서 토지를 분배받았고 국내해방전쟁에도 적극 뛰어 들었으며 건국 후에는 중국의 한 개 소수민족으로 되었다. 그렇다면 이들의 이 같은 선택을 할 수 있었던 내면의 가치의식은 무엇이었으며 이러한 선택을 할 수밖에 없었던 외부적 요소는 무엇이었을까? 그리고 이 같은 선택이 향후 가치의식의 흐름에 어떠한 영향을 미치었는가? 본 논문에서는 상기한 문제의식을 바탕으로 조선족가치의식변동에 있어서 하나의 “블랙스완(Black swan)”으로 되고 있는 1945년 8.15광복에 초점을 맞추고 당시대 동북에 거주하고 있던 조선인들의 가치선택에 주목하면서 조국관을 비롯한 이들의 가치의식변동을 고찰해보고자 한다. 아울러 조선인들의 가치선택에 직간접적 영향을 미쳐왔던 중공의 민족정책, 토지개혁운동 및 기층당조직의 역할 등에 대해서도 전반적인 조명을 시도하였다.

영어초록

Since the migration to the Northeast China, Korean-Chinese cultivated wasteland to create their economic life. In addition, Korean-Chinese strongly resisted the Japanese colonial policies such as changing traditional Korean hairstyle, clothes style and family names, and they actively participated in the anti-Japanese movement for the national sovereignty and the national liberation. Going through the period of the Qing Dynasty, the Warlord, Republican China and Manchuria, Korean-Chinese who had firmly maintained their ethnic culture and identity chose to remain in “their second homeland” where they cultivated and defended with their blood and sweat, rather than the Korean Peninsula right before the Restoration of Independence of Korea in 1945. Those who wanted to remain in China were distributed land in the liberated areas. They actively joined the national liberation war and became one of the ethnic minorities after the foundation of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.
Then, what is the internal consciousness of values that enabled them to make such choice? And what are the external elements that made them have no other choice? Moreover, what are the effects of the choice on the flow of the values later after? Based on the issues above, this paper focuses on the Restoration of Independence of Korea on August 15 in 1945, which is considered as one of the “Black Swan” of changing values of ethnic Korean in China. Thus, this paper pays close attention to the value orientation of ethnic Korean residing in the Northeast China at that time and aims to observe the change of values including the concept of motherland. In addition, this paper attempts to shed a light on the external elements of that choice such as ethnic policies of the Communist Party of China, the land reform and the role of grass-roots party organizations, etc.
