약초민간전승요법의 다학제간 접근방식에 의한 조사방법론연구 -경남 산청군의 사례를 중심으로 (Survey Methodology studies on Herbal Folklore therapy in Sancheong, based on Multidisciplinary Approach)

초록

민간전승요법은 민속학, 식물학적, 언어학적, 본초학(약리학)적 지식등의 다양한 학문적 기반을 두고 공동으로 연구해야 하나 주어진 제약성 또는 가치공유의 한계로 민속학, 식물학, 언어학, 약리학 전공자들과의 협동연구가 어려운 현실이었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다학제간 접근방식에 기초한 생애사적 조사방법론을 구축하고자 하였다.
본 연구에서는 사전설문조사를 통하여 식물의 효능과 식물성상에 근거하여 식물명의 방언대조표를 작성하였고 조사 대상지역에서 빈용되는 민간전승요법의 현황을 질환별로 이용하는 약초, 적용방법 등에 대해 조사한 뒤 이 결과를 심층면담에 이용하였다. 심층조사에서는 생애사적연구방법을 통하여 제보자 1인 기준 2~3시간 동안의 면담을 진행하면서 제보자 삶에 내재된 민간전승요법을 조사하였다.
이러한 조사를 통하여 도출하게 된 결론으로는 다학제간 연구를 위해서는 사전설문조사를 통한 언어학적, 식물적인 조사가 선행되어야 하고 제보자와 관계를 강화시키고 유의미한 결과를 도출하기 위해서는 민간전승요법의 전승방법, 제보자의 성별에 따른 심층면접 질문을 다르게 해야 원활한 조사가 됨을 알게 되었다. 남성은 결과중심, 여성은 관계중심으로 면담을 이끌어가야 원활한 결과를 도출할 수 있었다.

Folk therapy has been transmitted continuously in various ways. Though folk medicines, as a tacit knowledge, are not verified and approved officially its pharmacological effects by scientific tests, it is an important folk science and native knowledge handed down for a long time. Because of In many cases, folk therapy has been effective on incurable and chronic diseases by making up for legal medicines or as an alternative measure. Despite the needs for interdisciplinary, It is difficult to carry out collaborative research among Folklore, botany, linguistics, pharmacology experts. Therefore In this study, intend to build a life history research methodology based on a interdisciplinary approach. Survey was carried out in a 3 phase, in a first phase of survey, carried out in May to July 2008, in order to understand current status of folks remedies or practice have an Interview with 401 resident in West Gyeongnam Province. In this phase, Among 401 cases, utilizing folk medicinal practice, we assort herb oriented remedies and exclude ethnic religious customs or non-scientific practice, and focus on authentic local medical customs in Kyung-nam province. To identify botanical origin of the folk medicine, by describing local name, scientific name and Drug name. Base on the result first phase of the surveys, we made a questionnaire, which is evaluated recognition of 144 folks remedies against 34 syndromes on the subjects were 152 rural residence. Folk taxonomy and nomenclature is different from classification of botany. This article is the answers about them. I used the method of ethnobotanical identification combined with participant observaton and refered to botanical textbooks about the methods of gathering, prepararing and using of those herbs. In this study, through 2 phase of pre-survey, writing a list of dialects in contrast based on efficacy and Appearance of the herb. In-depth study, using biographical research methods, remedies inherent in informer's life were investigated through interviews per person for two to three hours. The results of this survey were summarized as follows: It showed that the traditional knowledge on medicinal herbs above is handed down mainly to women. The folk knowledge of traditional medicine is passed down differently between man and woman. According to the traditions of folk medicine and Gender Differences in informer in-depth interview questions should be different. Interview between men and women have different ways that is, When interviewed men, it should be results-oriented and interview women Relationship-oriented
