『고시조 대전』의 편찬 과정과 주요 특성 개관 (Compilation Process and Major Features of Gosijo Daejeon)

초록

본고는 『고시조 대전』의 편찬 과정과 주요 특성을 개관한 논문이다. 『고시조 대전』 편찬은 1990년부터 시작되어 23년의 장구한 세월을 거쳐 2012년 7월 30일 완료되었다. 『고시조 대전』은 현재까지 수집된 316종의 문헌에 수록된 고시조 46,431수를 망라하여 5,563개의 유형과 6,845개의 군집으로 나누어 對校한 자료 집성이다.
Ⅱ장에서는 『고시조 대전』 편찬 과정을 다음과 같이 3단계로 구분하여 서술하였다.
1. 제1차 데이터베이스 구축 및 응용 연구(1990-2006)2. 텍스트의 집성 및 계보학적 연구(2007-2010)3. 제2차 데이터베이스 및 출판(2010-2012)1단계는 고시조 데이터베이스를 구상하고 고시조 5,180수를 전자텍스트화하여 고시조 검색시스템을 구축한 시기이다. 아울러 내용소 개념을 도입하여 고시조 데이터베이스를 활용한 응용 연구가 이루어졌다. 2단계는 2007년 한국학술진흥재단(현 한국연구재단)의 지원을 받아 3년 동안 “고시조, 계몽기시조, 근대시조 텍스트의 집성과 계보학적 연구”를 진행한 시기이다. 고시조 문헌 수집과 전자텍스트화 과정에 대해 상세히 소개하였다. 3단계는 2차 데이터베이스 구축을 완료하고 『고시조 대전』을 편찬하는 과정에 대해 서술하였다.
Ⅲ장에서는 『고시조 대전』의 주요 특성에 대해 개관하였다. 먼저 수록 범위 및 규모를 제시하고, 『고시조 대전』에서 가장 중요한 특장인 유형․군집의 개념과 작품 배열순서, 그리고 표제작의 정규화 문제에 대해 서술하였다. 아울러 작품의 부수 정보인 작자, 악곡, 제목 정보의 제시 방식에 대해서도 소개하였다. 이외에도 작품군 부수정보(근접작품군, 한역정보)와 부록의 세부 항목(한역시, 문헌서발문, 작품서발문, 작가 소개)의 특장점에 대해서도 밝혔다.

This article surveyed the compilation process and the main characteristics of Gosijo Daejeon (Unabridged Dictionary of Classical Sijo). The compilation of Gosijo Daejeon have started from 1990 and finished in July 30, 2012 after 23 years of long time. Gosijo Daejeon is the collection of collated and corrected 46,431 sijos from 316 kinds of classical sijo literatures, and it categorized collected sijos into 5,563 types and 6,845 groups.
In the second chapter, the compilation process of Gosijo Daejeon was described in three stages.
Establishment and applied research of the primary database (1990-2006)Compilation and genealogical study of the texts (2007-2010)Publication of the secondary database (2010-2012)The first stage was the period that the database of classical sijos were planned, and 5,180 numbers of classical sijos were electronic-textualized so that classical sijo searching system became possible. Also, the concept of thematic elements were introduced to the applied researches utilizing classical sijo database. The second stage was the period that “the compilation and genealogical study of classical sijo, the period of enlightenment sijo, modern sijo texts” were conducted with the fund from National Research Founation of Korea in 2007. In this chapter, the collecting of classical sijo literatures and its electonic-textualization process were introduced in detail. The last stage was the period that databased classical sijos were categorized into types and groups after the collating and correcting, the information of author and music were regularized, and finally Gosijo Daejeon were completed.
In the third chapter of this article, main characteristics of Gosijo Daejeon were depicted. In this chapter, including range and scale of Gosijo Daejeon was presented, the notions of types and group which were the most important features of Gosijo Daejeon, arranged order of texts within the types and groups, and the issue regarding normalization of the title piece were discussed. Also, the way collateral information of the texts such as author, melody, title were presented in Gosijo Daejeon was narrated. Besides, subsidiary information on the group of texts (proximate groups of texts, translation) and the details in the appendix (Chinese poems translated into Korean, introductions, and information of authors) were presented.
