초록

유구한 역사는 소생시킬 수 없는 수많은 역사 유물들을 남겼다. 역사 유물은 특정 민족, 특정 국가의 깊은 문화적 소양을 보여주기 때문에, 역사문화의 전승 및 발전과 직결된다. 유물은 시간이 흐름에 따라 어느 정도 훼손된다. 한편 오늘과 같은 뉴미디어 시대에서 전통적인 전파의 개념은 역사 유물을 전시하고 보호하는 데에 있어서 족쇄가 되기도 한다. 과학기술이 발전하고 정보기술이 발달하면서 전통적인 방식의 유물 전시는 디지털 전시로 대체되고 있으며, 디지털 전시는 역사 유물을 보호함과 동시에 관람객에게 정보를 전달하는 주요 수단으로 자리잡고 있다. 오늘날 디지털 미디어 전시기술은 널리 응용되며 역사 유물의 전시와 보존에도 활용되고 있으며, 이는 유물의 보존도를 크게 높인다는 점에서 중대한 진전이라고 할 수 있다. 디지털 미디어 전시는 디지털 미디어 아트가 개입되어 있어 정보를 일방적으로 전달하고, 정적인 특징을 지닌 전통적인 전시에 비해 동적이며, 인터랙티브한 체험을 선사함으로써 전시 디자인의 내용과 효과를 더욱 풍부하게 한다. 이는 또한 유물을 다듬고 복원하는 데에 기술적인 뒷받침이 된다. 본 논문 연구의 중점은 디지털 미디어 아트 창작과, 디지털화 수단에 기반한 역사 유물의 가상 보존 그리고 문화의 전시 및 전파에 있다. 이 같은 중점을 바탕으로 역사 유물 프로젝션 맵핑 전시 형식 사례를 살펴보고, 디지털 미디어 아트 창작에 기반한 시각전달의 특징을 분석하였다. 이에 더해 크로스미디어 통합 디자인 모델을 탐구하는 등 관련 연구를 개진하였을 뿐 아니라 최근의 대표 응용 사례들을 종합하여 역사 유물 프로젝션 맵핑 전시 형식의 유물 보호 과정에 있어서의 이점을 도출하였다. 또한 프로젝션 맵핑 디자인 내용 분석을 통해 유사 아트 창작 프로세스 모델 및 기술 수단을 도출함으로써 디지털 전시의 복제 용이성, 광범위한 전파, 유연한 내용, 그리고 인터랙티브 체험 등의 장점을 살려 역사 유물의 디지털 전시 전파와 보호 분야에 탄탄한 이론적 기반을 제공하고자 하였다.

영어초록

In the long process of history, many non-renewable historical relics have been left. Usually these historical relics represent the profound culture deposit of a nation or a country and are directly related to heritage and development of historical cultures. As the time passes, these historical relics have been damaged to different extents. In the new media era, traditional communication concepts may have gradually become the impediment of exhibition and protection of historical relics. Along with the advance of science and technology as well as the development of information technology, replacing the traditional relics exhibition with digital exhibition has become an important means of protecting historical relics and delivering information to the public. Currently, the digital media exhibition technology has been widely applied. Application of digital media exhibition technology in exhibition and protection of historical relics is an important breakthrough which can improve the protection force of historical relics to large extent. As regards digital media display design, the digital media art has made the traditional static exhibition and unitary information transfer become dynamic exhibition and interactive experience, which makes the content and effect of exhibition design richer. This is conducive to repair and restoration of relics for which technological supports are provided. This paper mainly researches virtual storage of historical relics and exhibition and communication of cultures on the basis of digital media art creation and digital means. In terms of the content, the paper mainly researches the projection mode of historical relics, analyzes the visual communication characteristics based on digital media art creation and explores the cross-media integration design mode. Advantages of art project exhibition of historical relics in protection of relics are summarized through analyzing the most classical application cases. Through analyzing the art project design content, similar art creation procedure model and technical means are abstracted. This exhibition mode is easy to copy and promote in a large scale, has flexible and diversified contents and can realize interactive experience. By giving play to its such advantages, a solid theoretical basis can be provided for digital exhibition, communication and protection of historical relics.
