초록

Hu Shi胡適 is widely recognized today as a key contributor to Chinese liberalism and language reform in his advocacy for the use of written vernacular Chinese. He was influential in the May Fourth Movement五四運動, one of the leaders of China's New Culture Movement中國新文化運動. Hu Shi is based on his background, he devotes all one's life to discuss Chinese literature and academic. He had a wide range of interests such as literature, history, philosophy, textual criticism, pedagogy and redology scholar, etc.
Accordingly, this paper makes an attempt to discuss about The Collection of Chinese New-Vernacular Literature Works⋅Construction of Literary Theory⋅Introduction中國新文學大系⋅建設理論集⋅導言, and take this as the breakthrough point, to glimpse the first ten years of Chinese new literature history the overall appearance, from mining at the time a particular historical context and in personal attitude and academic position to Hu Shi.
Hu Shi regarded the literary revolution as a revolution of literary tools. He returned to the "Literature" in the late Qing Dynasty to the improvement of the reduction of the late Qing Dynasty. He advocated vernacular literature, and actively promoted the modernization of Chinese new literature. What he value is the language used in the process of literary writing, which makes Hu Shi's later literature and literary history of the study provides a vital clue.
Hu Shi's theory of evolution to explore the future of Chinese literature and its potential, so as to clarify the problems in the Chinese literature research. By Introduction導言 and the relevant literature can be found behind the study of Hu Shi's literary are contains rich historical thoughts, his historical view and historical view in a certain sense are through to his literature studies and become a study of Hu Shi's literary effective ways and methods.
Furthermore, there was the debate between Hu Shi and Li Jinxi黎錦煕. The debate focuses on a different attitude towards the national language. The two people are aware of the importance of national unity, but the emphasis is different. Li Jinxi put his argument in the aspect of language text to discuss and emphasize the system of Mandarin; Hu Shi, standing in the position of literature, involved is the internal mechanism of language, work to Argue for Chinese Literature.
