초록

Seon-nong Je was a national memorial ceremony which had performed under physiocratism, the ruling ideology like the successive dynasties in China. They have performed Seon-nong, deifying Sin-nong ssi[The 2nd of the five ancient rulers]as a main God, also successive dynasties of our country accepted the spirit and method of the ritual ceremony. A serious matter indoctrinating physiocratic thinking into the mind of people and ruling class was the dynasty's top policy priority. Therefore, the ritual ceremony of Seon-nong Je was the second important event following Jongmyo or Sajikje. Music played in the ceremony was A-ak, Seon-nong Akjang and Chin'gyeong-jeokjeon Akjang had been used. I made sure that Seon-nong Akjang borrowed some phrases, historical facts, spirit, motif from the Scriptures of the East and Chinese successive or contemporary preceding Akjangs, the other parts were made by the authors' original idea. Praise for Seon-nong's virtue and pious ritual processes[Jeonpye Akjang], praise for Seon-nong's virtue⋅wisdom and praying for blessing[Cho-heon Jeong-wi Akjang], praise for Hoojik's virtue and praying for blessing[Cho-heon Baewi Akjang], pride for the magnificent finish of ritual ceremony's process and praying for the God[Cheolbyeondoo Akjang], etc. are themes of Seon-nong Akjang. And, praying for heaven's virtue and emphasis about the meaning of ceremony of Royal Plowing[Gookwangchuldaecha Akjang], emphasis about authenticity of Royal Plowing and importance of encouragement of agriculture[Gookwang'gyeongjeok Akjang], emphasis about ruler's diligence and praying for heaven's compensation[Gookwang'gwan'gyeong Akjang], praise for ministers and praying for abundance and health[Baekgwan' gyeongjeok Akjang], etc. are themes of Chin'gyeong Akjang. We can summarize them as praying for abundance to Sin-nong ssi, the main God, and Hoojik, the coordinate God, and showing the importance of labour to people and trying to unite the group of ruling class. Like this, Seon-nong Akjang has an important meaning politically, at the same time, it performed a significant contribution to the growth of Joseon Dynasty's Akjang.
