초록

이 글은 장칭의 양명학이해를 살펴보고 이에 대해 비판을 하는 논문이다. 양지, 치지, 지행합일, 양지와 연기법, 양지감함, 양지와 과학민주 등에 대해서 모종삼과 장칭의 주장을 살펴보고, 이에 대해 필자의 견해를 제시하였다. 장칭은 현재 중국의 유학담론을 이끌어 가는 실세이다. 그의 사상을 살펴보는 것은 현재 중국의 사상의 현주소를 알 수 있는 계기가 된다. 장칭은 원래 양명학을 전공하였으나, 정치유학으로 전환하였다.
양명학은 내성방면에서 불교와 도교의 방법론을 적용하여 양지의 깨달음을 주장하고 외왕방면에서 양지의 실천을 강조한다. 모종삼은 내성방면에서 불교와 도교의 방법론 대신에 서양철학의 방법론을 적용하여 지적 직관을 강조하여 양지의 이해를 도모하고, 외왕의 측면에서 양지의 감함을 통해 과학과 민주에 대한 실천을 주장한다. 장칭은 내성과 외왕의 연결대신에 독립성을 강조한다. 내성의 측면에서 모종삼의 양명학을 헤겔이나 칸트 등의 서양사상과 불교적인 사고에 물들었다고 비판하고 있다. 장칭은 한편으로는 불교적인 사고도 비판하고, 다른 한편으로는 서양사상도 비판하고 있는 것이다. 외왕의 측면에서 민주와 과학을 대신에 전통적인 공양학에 기반한 새로운 정치제도의 건설을 주장한다. 이러한 점에서 그는 현대 신유학자라고 할 수 있다. 그런데 양명학에서 불교의 영향력을 무시할 수 없는데 그는 의도적으로 불교적인 사고를 배제하고 있다. 이는 그의 양명학이해에서 문제가 있음을 알 수 있다.

And on the other hand he is also criticizing the Western philosophy that he argues for the construction of a new political system based on a traditional thought, instead of democracy and science on the side of the outer parts, Ignoring the influence of Buddhism in Yangming Studies and he is intentionally eliminating Buddhist thought, and his understanding of Yangming is low.
