보허자 음악에 맞춘 성종대 학무(鶴舞) 복원 연구 (A restoration study on the Hakmoo(鶴舞) of King Seongong based on the Boheoja(步虛子) music)

초록

조선전기 성종대(成宗代)의 <학무>를 문헌 고증을 통하여 복원한다면 어떤 양상으로 추었을까? 하는 의문점에서 출발한 본 연구는 복원에 필요한 실제 수용범위와 근거를 『악학궤범』에 기록된 <학무>의 무용구조와 진행구조ㆍ고무보의 기록구조ㆍ궁중정재의 기본법례ㆍ의궤 정재도 등을 통합 비교하였을 때 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
조선전기 성종대 <학무> 가사는 <오양선>의 보허사 가사인 “벽연룡효사”이고, 노래말 전체 구조에 맞춰 추는 춤이다. 학의 초열위치는 <학무>를 독자적으로 출 때에는 지당판 남쪽에 서고, 합설로 출 때에는 지당판 좌우에 선다. ‘지당전춤’과 ‘북향춤’을 추는 공간은 지당판 북쪽이고, ‘향지당춤’을 추는 공간은 지당판 남쪽으로, 지당판은 무대가운데에 설치되어 학이 지당판을 중심으로 남쪽과 북쪽, 2가지 공간에서 춘다. <학무>의 무용구조는 ‘북향춤’과 ‘향지당춤’ 2가지로 구분되어 반복하여 추는데, 북향춤은 진2보 내고ㆍ외고를 반복해서 추고, 향지당춤은 연통을 중심으로 내면ㆍ외면ㆍ남면을 춘다. 이동구조는 지당판 남쪽에서 북쪽, 지당판 북쪽에서 남쪽, 지당판 남쪽에서 남쪽, 등 3가지로 진행된다. ‘내선’은 <학무>에서만 사용된 유일한 이동구조로서, ‘지당판 남쪽에서 북쪽’, ‘지당판 북쪽에서 남쪽’으로 이동하는 것을 5회 반복한다.
결과적으로 <학무>는 독자적으로 출 때와 <학연화대처용무>와 합설로 출 때의 공간구조와 춤 진행구조가 달랐는데, 다른 것은 학의 초열 위치와 지당판 위의 연통을 중심으로 설치된 구조물 위치이고, 같은 것은 학무 춤 공간이 지당판을 중심으로 전후[南北] 공간을 모두 사용한 점이다. 유일하게 <학무>에서만 ‘내선’이라는 이동구조를 사용한 것과 조선전기 <학무>가 보허사 노래 전장에 맞춰 춤을 추었다는 사실 또한 새로운 발견이다 하겠다.

영어초록

This study is derived from the question of which pattern is it if we restore the <Hakmoo(鶴舞)> of King Seongjong in the early days of the Joseon Dynasty through literary research. In terms of the actual scope and evidence for the restoration, this study compared and analyzed the dance and progress structure of the <Hakmoo>, the historical structure of Gomoobo(古舞譜), the basic roles of Court Jeongjae(宮中呈才), Euiqwe Jeongjaedo, etc., and the result is as follows.
The lyrics of the <Hakmoo> of King Seongjong in the early days of the Joseon Dynasty is “Beokyeonryonghyosa” which is also the lyric of the Boheosa(步虛詞) of <Oyangseon(五羊仙)>, which is a dance based on the whole structure of the lyrics. The cranes are posted in the first line on the left side of the Jidangpan(池塘板) if the <Hakmoo> is performed to be independent and the cranes are posited in the right and left sides of Jidangpan if the <Hakmoo> is performed to be collected. The ‘Jidangjeon dance’ and ‘Bukhyang dance’ are performed on the north side of the Jidangpan and the ‘Hyangjidang dance’ is performed on the south side of the Jidangpan. The cranes are performed on the two spaces of the north and south sides centered on the Jidangpan which is located in the center of a stage. The dance structure of the <Hakmoo> is repeated by the two dances of the ‘Bukhyang dance’ and ‘Hyangjidang dance’. The ‘Bukhyang dance’ is repeated by Jin-2(e)-bo Nego and Oego and the ‘Hyangjidang dance’ is repeated by Nemyeon, Oemyeon, and Nammyeon centered on Yeontong. The three moving structures of the <Hakmoo> are from the south to the north, from the north to the south, and from the south to the north of the Jidangpan, respectively. The ‘Naeseon’ is the moving structure for the <Hakmoo> only when it is repeated five times from the south to the north and from the north to south of the Jidangpan.
As a result, the space and progress structures of a dance are different when the <Hakmoo> is independent and collected with <Hakyeon- hwadaecheoyongmoo>. The first line of the cranes differ with the Yeontong location and the dancing space of the <Hakmoo> is the same with the north and south spaces centered on the Jidangpan.. It is a new discovery that the moving structure of the ‘Naeseon’ is used for the <Hakmoo> only and the <Hakmoo> of the early Joseon dynasty is danced based on the lyrics of the Boheosa.
