『靑丘』와 재일코리안의 자기정체성 - 문학텍스트를 중심으로 - (Chungku(靑丘) and the self-identity of Korean residents in Japan)

초록

본고는 글로컬리즘의 관점에서 잡지 『靑丘』를 주목하고 재일코리안 사회와 『靑丘』 의 자기정체성 문제를 비롯해서, 『靑丘』의 ‘특집주제’와 개별적인 연구논문을 통해 재일코리언 사회의 자화상, 재일코리언을 향한 주류/중심사회의 시선을 짚었다. 정리해 보면 『靑丘』에서는 한국의 역사/전통의식과 양국의 역사적 교류지점을 통해 재일코리언의 아이덴티티를 분명히 하고자 했고, 제국일본의 모순/부조리를 학문적으로 들춰내며조명했음을 확인할 수 있다. 그리고 『靑丘』에서는 재일코리안의 실질적인 ‘가교’역, 재일코리언 사회의 현재적 지점에 대한 검토와 해결책 모색, 통일조국의 실현을 위한 목소리, 탈경계적 문학/예술의 소통 차원의 코리안디아스포라 문학에 대한 조명, <제주도4·3사건>에 대한 학문적인 접근을 보여주었다. 또한 『靑丘』에서는 다양한 장르의 단행본 소개, 양국 지식인/학자들의 대담·좌담·정담을 통해 한일관계, 남북문제, 재일코리언 사회의 현실적인 문제를 풀어내고자 노력한다. 이러한『靑丘』의 담론공간은 1970 년, 80년대에 발간된 『三千里』(1975-1987), 동시대에 발간된 『민도』, 1990년대 후반에발간된 『호르몬 문화』와는 또 다른 관점에서 시대정서를 표상한 문화지점이라 할 수 있다. 한편 『靑丘』에 게재된 문학텍스트(소설, 평론 등)는 비록 양·질적으로 풍성하지는 못했지만 재일코리언 문학사에서 간과할 수 없는 지점이다. 특히 소개된 양석일, 김중명, 원수일의 소설은 재일코리안 문학의 다양/중층성 차원에서 작가적 아이덴티티를 보여주기에 충분한 작품이며, 가와무라 미나토, 안우식, 이소가이 지로의 평론과 한국문학의 일본어번역은 재일코리안 문학의 확장과 소통/교류라는 점에서 의미가 크다.

영어초록

This paper focuses on the magazine Chungku(靑丘)from the perspective of glocalism, examining the society of Korean residents in Japan and the identity of Chungku(靑丘). It also talks about how Korean society in Japan is being portrayed and how the Korean residents in Japan are viewed by the mainstream Japanese society, based on the “Special Topic” in Chungku(靑丘) and research papers. Chungku(靑丘) attempted to clarify the identity of Korean residents in Japan, referring to Korea’s historical consciousness and sense of tradition as well as the history of exchange between Korea and Japan. In addition, it shed academic light on the contradictions and irrationalities of the Japanese Empire. The magazine reviewed the role of Koreans living in Japan as a real “bridge” between the two countries and the current state of Korean society in Japan and looked for ways to address current issues. It also discussed the voice of Korean residents in Japan for the reunification of the peninsula and Korean diaspora literature in terms of cross-boundary communications of literature and art, and took a scholarly approach to the April 3rd Jeju Island Incident. Moreover, Chungku(靑丘) made efforts to find solutions to practical problems between Korea and Japan, between South and North Korea, and of the Korean society in Japan, introducing its readers to books of various genres related to them and covering conversations, discussions, and dialogues among pundits and scholars of the two nations. It can be said that the discourse space of Chungku(靑丘) is a space that reflects the zeitgeist from a perspective different from those of Samchulli(三千里) issued between 1975 and 1987, Mindo(民濤) around the same time as Samchulli(三千里), and Hormone Bunka(ほるもん文化) in the late 1990s. Although the literary texts (novels, critiques, etc.) published in Chungku(靑丘) were lacking in both quality and quantity, they occupy an important position in the literary history of Korean society in Japan. The novels of Seokin Yang, Joongmyung Kim, and Sooil Won issued in Chungku(靑丘), in particular, demonstrate the authors’ identity, with regard to diversity and multi-layer nature of literature of Koreans who reside in Japan. Critiques written by Minato Kawamura, Woosik Ahn, and Jiro Isogai as well as Japanese translations of Korean literature are meaningful in terms of the expansion, communication, and exchange of literature of Koreans residing in Japan.
