この論文では、柄谷行人のNew Associationist Movement(略して、NAM)に焦点を当てて、「ポスト資本主義」を指向する日本の現代思想がラジカルな社会運動が著しく弱体化された状況の仲で資本主義を乗り越えるという展望をどのような論理で正当化しているのかを分析する。NAMは、柄谷が創った資本と国家に対抗する運動の理論であると同時に、彼が2000年に出帆した共同体運動の名称でもある。このNAMに関する今までの議論は、それを主にマルクス主義の知性史の中に位置づけた上でその内容的な独創性と批判理論としての可能性を検証するのに力を入れてきた。それに対して、この論文はNAMを徹底的に戦後日本という時空間で出現した「歴史的な思想言説」として取り扱う。 このような問題意識から構成されているこの論文の主な論旨は以下のようである。第一に、柄谷行人のNAMは「破局の予感」、「歴史の反復」、そして消えることのない「革命の衝動」といった要素を活用することによって資本主義の克服に向かう歴史の動きを正当化している。第二に、NAMの理論が前提としてしる「消費とインターネットが世界を変える」という発想は、1980年代以降日本資本主義の成熟が齎した社会的変容、すなわち消費社会と情報社会の拡散という状況に対すす思想的な対応という意味を持つ。第三に、NAMの核心をなす「アソシエーション」という概念は過去のマルクス主義の歴史唯物論に対する批判とカントの「永遠平和論」に対する積極的な再解釈という理論的な作業の産物であると同時に、「主権の放棄」を規定する「日本国憲法」の理念に対する高い評価の上で「自らを弱い主体として提示することによって他者の変化を促す」という特殊な啓蒙の論理に基づいている点も確認する。

영어초록

One of the characteristics of contemporary Japanese thought in the 21st century is the continuous emergence of so-called ‘Post-capitalism’ discourses that advocate the abandonment of capitalism. Although the contemporary Japanese thought is strengthening its radical character, Japan's anti-capitalist social movement has been steadily weakening since the 1970s. In other words, the current anti-capitalist theory and movement in Japan show a serious divergence. So how does post-capitalism theory justify the prospect of overcoming capitalism when the claim to overcome capitalism is not realistic? This paper deals with this issue by focusing on ‘New Association Movement(Short for NAM)’, a theory of the movement against capital and the state created by Karatani Kojin.
This paper treats Karatani's argument as a form of thought corresponding to the transformation of Japanese capitalism, unlike prior research, which regards it as a new Marxist theory. In other words, it is not regarded as a "general theory" but as a thoroughly "historical discourse." Through concepts such as the premonition of catastrophe and the repetition of history, Karatani argues for the inevitability of revolution aimed at overcoming capitalism. In addition, his theory of revoluti through association is not only the result of a critical review of previous Marxist philosophy and, but also included the theory of the Japanese information society and the theory of consumer revolution as internal elements of the theory. Furthermore, he says, Japan can bring about a change in the world's sovereign state system by strictly adhering to the Constitution, which stipulates the renunciation of military power. This kind of logic is not based on the general Enlightenment that strong subjects can lead change, but on the idea that pacifism can be realized in the world by presenting oneself as a weak subject before various nations. This is an example of Japan's postwar mentality in that it is established by actively defending the values of the Japanese Constitution.
