수분크림의 귀리, 상백피, 유근피 추출물에 따른유․수분 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Sebum and Moisture with Avena Sativa, Morus Alba and Ulmus Davidiana Extracts in Moisturizing Cream)

초록

This study was conducted to find out the hydration effect and duration of sebum and moisture of moisturizing cream by applying a moisturizing cream made with natural ingredients of Avena Sativa, Morus alba and Ulmus davidiana and a regular moisturizing cream on sale to the face area. Subjects with skin problems, subjects with sensitive or atopic skin, and subjects who have experienced an allergic reaction to medicine or whose skin overreacts to certain substances which are typically used for skin tests were excluded as informants of this examination. Five women who were aware of the contents of this examination, able to attend and follow instructions while in this study, and healthy between the ages of 20 and 40 were chosen to be final informants. The amount of sebum and moisture contained in the skin was measured for seven hours after applying the tester. All informants used the same facial wash and waited for 30 minutes under identical conditions before the tester was applied. This exam shows that the moisturizing cream with Avena Sativa had the most significant results in both hydration effect and duration. Furthermore, the hydration effect and duration of Avena Sativa can be supported by the fact that Avena Sativa cream had the best result in sebum amount duration. The results of this study indicate that the extract of Avena Sativa has a great hydration effect, and there is a relation between the amount of moisture and sebum in the skin.
