초록

本文以成人版『史記列傳』完譯本爲中心，從內容與注釋兩方面，嘗試性地探討了其中出現的具體飜譯問題。旨在促進學界進一步關注與討論『史記』旣有的相關飜譯成果，同時在改善與提升譯文正確性的層面，以期爲譯者在今後的『史記』相關飜譯與出版作業中提供一定參考。 首先，在問題提起部分，以相關飜譯理論爲基礎，分析了旣有的『史記』譯本中存在的問題以及對此問題研究的必要性。 其次，於『史記列傳』譯本的基本槪況部分中，整理了14種旣有的『史記列傳』完譯本，並從時間段、書名、飜譯方式、譯者等層面，對韓國『史記列傳』完譯本的槪況與體系做了簡單地介紹。 再次，通過對比，從相關飜譯問題較突出的人物基本信息、紀年、數值、官職名稱等層面，探討了譯文內容中出現的基本信息或歷史事實飜譯錯誤的問題。同時，對注釋中存在的包括關聯人物、紀年、“『史记』三家注”等層面上加注不準確以及誤譯問題亦進行了重點討論。 最後，於結論部分中，分析了上述所討論的相關問題出現的原因並提出了改善之建議。同時，爲了構築韓國『史記』飜譯問題研究體系也提出了今後值得關注的其他課題。

영어초록

This article focuses on the complete translation of the adult version of ‘Biographies of ‘Shiji(史記列傳)’ attempting to explore specific translation issues that arise from both content and annotations. The aim is to encourage the further academic attention and discussion regarding existing translation outcomes of ‘Shiji(史記)’, meanwhile improving the accuracy of the translated text to provide a reference for translators in future translation and publication efforts related to ‘Shiji(史記)’.
First, in the section addressing the issues, problems are analyzed in the presenting existing translations of ‘Shiji(史記)’ based on relevant translation theories and discuss the necessity of researching these issues.
Second, in the section outlining the basic overview of the translation of ‘Biographies of Shiji(史記列傳)’ compile 14 existing complete translations and provide a brief introduction to the status and system of Korean translations of ‘Biographies of Shiji(史記列傳)’ from the perspectives of time period, title, translation methods, and translators.
Furthermore, through comparative analysis, the mistranslation issues are investigated related to basic information or historical facts in the translated content, focusing on prominent translation problems concerning character information, chronology, numerical values, and official titles. Additionally, I emphasize the inaccuracies and erroneous translations found in annotations, including those related to associated figures, chronology, and the ‘Three Notes of ShiJi(史記三家注)’.
Finally, in the conclusion, the causes of the aforementioned issues and propose suggestions are analyzed for future improvements. I also highlight other topics worthy of attention for constructing a research framework on translation issues related to ‘Shiji(史記)’ in Korea.
