초록

(연구배경 및 목적) 라캉의 핵심 이론인 '응시' 개념은 표현과 조형의 영역인 건축과 밀접하게 관계하고 있다. 건축은 외적이고 물리적인 공간으로 분류되어 있으나 주체의 정신분석과 심리의 내적 작용의 결과물임에 틀림없다. 건축은 주체의 심미 구조를 반영하며, 외적 공간으로 지각됨과 동시에 눈에 보이지 않는 내적 공간 혹은 비어있는 것으로도 볼 수 있는데 이는 인간 심리의 '욕망' 과 밀접하게 연관되어있다. 건축은 인간의 욕망이 집약되고 실현되는 대상이다. 이러한 맥락에서 내부에서 일어나는 유동적 공간 체험이 일어나야 하는 현대 건축의 주택 안에서 숨겨진 건축적 체험을 분석해 보고자 한다. (연구방법) 베아트리츠 콜로미나는 응시의 개념을 아돌프 로스의 주택에서 증명하고 있음을 검증하기 위해 직접적인 시선을 차단하고 숨겨진 요소들을 짐작하도록 유도하는 것을 통해 응시를 불러일으킨다는 가정을 설정하였다. 그다음 라움플랜의 개념을 적용한 루이스 바라간, 알바로 시자, 안도 다다오, 카즈요 세지마, 알베르토 캄포 바에자의 각각의 주택 내부 평면 사례를 통해 보이는 것은 기본적인 요소들을 통해 내부의 내밀함으로 '응시' 개념을 설명함으로써 가설을 검증하였다. (결과) 분석을 통해 주택의 내밀함은 계단을 통해서 공간이 상하층으로 구분되어 발생하는 엄격한 차단으로 존재하지만, 실질적으로는 올려다보거나 내려다봄으로써 시각적 관계를 맺고 리비도적 응시가 발생하는 관계를 확인해 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 응시가 주택에서 필요한 이유는 건축적 체험을 통해 사용자에게 또 다른 정서가 발생함을 느끼고 동선을 계획할 때 공간의 위계를 높이며 보이는 공간이 결국 보는 공간이 되는 것이다. 즉, 이러한 전도를 통해 여러 층위의 순환적 인식을 느낄 수 있도록 유도하고 있음을 파악하였다. (결론) 근본적으로 현대건축에서의 '응시'는 주체로부터 다른 것을 명확하게 분리하는 것으로, 공간적인 측면에서 경계를 무의미하게 만들어 건축의 폭넓은 개념과 표현의 형태로서 나타나야 함을 제시하였다. 현대건축 주택들이 지닌 함의는 자연을 실내 깊숙이 끌어들이고 내부에서 일어나는 유동적 공간 체험을 유도해야 한다. 이에, 본 연구를 통해 앞으로의 건축적 의미와 연계성에 대한 새로운 시각을 제시할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

영어초록

(Background and Purpose) Lacan's core theory, the concept of 'regard', is closely related to architecture, which is the area of expression and form. Architecture is classified as an external and physical space, but it must be the result of the psychoanalysis of the subject and the inner workings of psychology. The Architecture reflects the aesthetic structure of the subject and is perceived as an external space, but at the same time, it can be seen as an invisible internal space or empty space, which is closely related to the 'desire' of human psychology. Architecture is the object where human desire is concentrated and realized. In this context, I would like to analyze the architectural experience hidden in the house of Contemporary architecture, where the fluid space experience that occurs inside must occur. (Method) In order to verify that the concept of 'regard' is proved in Adolf Loos's house, Beatriz Colomina established the assumption that regard is aroused by blocking direct regard and inducing guesses of hidden elements. Then, the hypothesis was verified by explaining the concept of 'regard' through the internal plan cases of Luis Barragan, Alvaro Siza, Ando Tadao, Kazuyo Sejima, and Alberto Campo Baeza, which applied the concept of Raum Plan. (Results) Through the analysis, the intimacy of the house exists as a strict barrier that occurs when the space is divided into upper and lower floors through the stairs, but in reality, it was possible to establish a visual relationship and confirm the relationship in which libidinal regard occurs by looking up or down . The reason why this kind of regard is necessary for the house is that the user feels that another emotion is generated through the architectural experience, and when planning the movement path, the visible space eventually becomes the viewing space by increasing the hierarchy of space. In other words, it was found that through this conduction, it was induced to feel the cyclical perception of various layers. (Conclusions) Fundamentally, it was suggested that the 'regard' in contemporary architecture clearly separates others from the subject, and that boundaries should be made meaningless in terms of space to appear in the form of a wide range of concepts and expressions of architecture. The implication of contemporary architecture houses should draw nature deep into the interior and induce a fluid spatial experience that takes place inside. Therefore, it is believed that this study will be able to present a new perspective on architectural meaning and connectivity in the future.
