초록

평창동계올림픽 뉴스 주관통신사인 연합뉴스는 지난 2월 9일 개막한 올림픽에 로봇기자를 등장시켰다. 이미 스포츠 분야에서 폭넓게 활용되온 로봇기자는 올림픽 경기 결과를 종료후 1~2초 만에 전 세계에 전송하며 속보성과 정확도에서 놀라운 실력을 발휘했다. 인공지능을 기반으로 학습한 로봇기자는 인간의 고유영역으로 치부됐던 기사작성까지 척척 해내고 있다. 한국의 이세돌 9단과 중국의 커제 9단을 잇달아 물리치며, 바둑에서는 더 이상 적수를 찾을 수 없는 인공지능 바둑로봇 알파고는 이제 의료기술을 딥러닝하면서 새로운 분야를 개척하고 있다.
바야흐로 4차 산업혁명 시대가 열렸다. 인공지능의 발달이 주를 이루는 4차 산업혁명은 과학기술 발전의 결정체이며 놀라운 속도로 진보를 거듭하고 있다. 과학기술의 발전은 인간의 생사를 좌우하는 시대를 꿈꾸고 있으며, 인공지능기술은 일상생활 속으로 깊숙이 파고들고 있다. 이미 교회는 새로운 선교적 상황인 4차 산업혁명 시대 앞에 놓인 것이다.
선교전략의 핵심요소인 상황화에는 과학기술의 발전도 포함된다. 새로운 기술의 발전 역시 하나님의 계획과 섭리 아래 진행된다고 보아야 한다. 따라서 새로운 시대가 열리면 교회는 그 상황에 적합한 선교방식을 찾아야 한다. 과학기술의 발전이 인류의 미래를 망가뜨릴 수 있다는 부정적 생각으로 경계만 하고 있다면 복음은 나아갈 길을 찾지 못하게 된다. 전하는 자가 없이는 듣지 못한다. 하나님의 복음은 각 시대마다 적합한 매개체인 미디어를 활용해왔다.
지금 한국교회 주류인 기성세대는 4차 산업혁명의 기술적 혜택을 받지 않아도 삶에 큰 불편을 느끼지 못한다. 하지만 다음세대는 다르다. 4차 산업혁명의 혜택을 받고 자라나는 다음세대들에게 복음을 전하기 위해서는 새로운 기술의 선교적 활용이 시급하다. 다음세대들이 주로 활동하는 인터넷 세계에는 복음을 기다리는 익명의 그리스도인들이 숨어 있다. 인터넷 속으로 그들을 찾아가는 노력과 함께 다음세대들에게 익숙해질 4차 산업혁명의 과학기술을 선교의 도구로 활용하는 연구가 진행되어야 한다.
이미 가상현실 속에 교회를 세우고, 증강현실을 통한 교육자료를 개발하는 시대가 도래했다. 인공지능이 책을 읽어주고 인공지능이 인간의 질문에 대답을 한다. 딥러닝 기술을 통해 성경을 학습한 인공지능이 어린이 공과공부를 담당하는 시대가 곧 온다고 해도 과언이 아니다.
본 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대까지 이르게 된 과학기술의 발전과 더불어 과학의 발전이 몰고 온 영적 위기 상황을 진단하는 한편, 새로운 기술을 선교에 활용하는 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추었다. 인공위성과 인터넷 유튜브, VR과 AR 등 가상현실 기술을 잘 활용한다면 복음이 들어가기 힘든 모슬렘권이나 공산권 선교에도 큰 도움이 될 수 있다. 선교는 변화하는 시대에 따라 다른 전략을 사용해왔다. 지금 한국교회에는 새로운 선교전략의 개발이 필요하다.

The Yonhap News showed a robotic reporter at the Olympic Games on February 9. Robotic reporters, already widely used in the sports field, were able to transmit fast and accurate news to the world within 1 to 2 seconds after the game was over. The robotic journalist, who was taught based on artificial intelligence, is writing articles that believe that only humans can do. Artificial intelligence is now pioneering new fields by deeply studying medical technology. The era of the 4h Industrial Revolution was held. The fourth industrial revolution, dominant in the development of artificial intelligence, is the crystal of technological development and is proceeding at an amazing pace. The development of science and technology dreams and artificial intelligence technology of the times that determine human life and death are deeply digging into everyday life. The church is already entering the era of the fourth industrial revolution, a new mission ministry.
Contextualization is a key element of missionary strategy and includes the development of science and technology, and the development of new technologies must also be carried out in accordance with God's plans and providence. So when a new era opens, the church must find a mission that fits the situation.
The development of science and technology can threaten the future of mankind. But if you are thinking negatively, the gospel will not find a way to go. I cannot hear without a speaker. God’s gospel has used the right medium for each age. Today, the major generations of Korean churches do not enjoy the technical benefits of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and they do not feel the inconvenience of life, but the next generation is different.
It is absolutely necessary to use new technology as a mission to share the gospel with the next generation benefiting from the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The Internet world where the next generation is active hides anonymous Christians so that they do not wait for the gospel. In addition to efforts to find the science and technology of the fourth industrial revolution through the Internet, it should be used as a mission tool that is familiar with the next generation. There's already a church in virtual reality, and it's time to develop educational material through augmented reality.
Artificial intelligence reads books. Artificial intelligence answers human questions. It is no exaggeration to say that artificial intelligence, which has learned the Bible through deep learning skills, will soon be responsible for the study of child teaching.
This study focused on the development of science and technology in the era of the Four Industrial Revolutions and the development of strategies to utilize new technologies in missions while diagnosing the spiritual crisis in which science has developed. Using a variety of technologies such as satellite, Internet YouTube, VR, and AR can be a great help for Muslims and communist missions that are difficult to hear the gospel.
