    초록

This article deals with forms and packing methods of old official documents which were from an guidebook of low-level officials(營吏) of Kyungsang-U(慶尙右) barrak. The guidebook was called 'Youngchong(營總). Particularly, researcher paid scant attention to the packing methods of the documents and their forms accompanied with the packages. In general, the package paper was directly recycled or thrown away right after delivery. It is one of the reasons why there aren't enough packages remain now. And with this sense, it seems that it is natural for researchers to give less attention on such things.
Considering the delivering process of the old documents, packaging was a quite important part. There were strict forms for packaging process. When it comes to documents which would be sent to the superior office also should be quite formal. It was also important that the package of documents should be practical for their confidentiality and prevention of pollution.
When the documents delivered from the lower part to the superior office, it was natural that their forms of document packages got more complicated and rigid. The package sent to a royal family or to a king, was usually packed by a method called 'Jeongga-sik(呈家式)'. They used Jangji(壯紙), Korean sliding-screen paper, for primary packaging which was called 'Jangji Jeongga(壯紙呈家)'. And then they packed the primary one using paper called 'Milji(蜜紙)' as secondary packaging, ‘Milji Jeongga(蜜紙呈家)’. Finally 'Yuji(油紙)', also a kind of paper, was used for the third process, 'Yuji Jeongga(油紙呈家)'. In these processes people sometimes shorten the process by omitting ‘Milji Jeongga', the secondary one. After this, the documents were secured tightly, sealed up by ‘Hyuppan(挾板)’ on the 'Yuji Jeongga)'. And then they finished packing wrapping up the documents by 'Chosuk(草席)', a straw mat.
But a person in charge of packaging was required to pay attention a lot, because there existed fixed forms in each process. The official documents, which were paid careful attention from deputies in Kyungsang-U barrak, were delivered to a king, royal family or to the superior office. From the documents sent to a king or royal family, 'Jeongga-sik' of the ‘Document of presentation to the king(進上單子)’, ‘Document of recommendation(薦單子)’ and ‘Document of assessment(褒貶狀啓)’ could be clarified. And from the documents delivered to the superior offices, 'Jeongga-sik' of 'Document of consultation about assessment(褒貶同議單子)' and 'Document of substitute promotion(代加單子)' could be clarified. Especially, 'Document of addition' haven't been indicated in the official documents from now on and form of document also could be disclosed through this research. Moreover, this article presents not only various registrations sent to 'Bibyun-sa(備邊司)', based on books for royal inspection and publications, but also, the methods and process on delivering publications. In particular, it was thought that Janggye(狀啓) and Seojang(書狀), which were copied on 'Janggye Dungrok(狀啓謄錄)' of 'Bibyun-sa' were similar. But this article addresses that the two documents were different in their forms.
