《于公案奇聞》의 판본과 재판의 영웅 연구 (The Study on Yugonganqiwen (于公案奇聞)’s Lithographic Book and Trial’s Hero)

초록

《于公案奇聞》은 淸代 公案小說로서 실존인물 于成龍의 재판을 중심으로 구성된 작품이다. 이 작품은 본래 희귀본이 중국에 소장되어 있는 것으로 알려져 있었으나 조사를 통해 알아본 결과 일실되어 자료를 구할 수 없게 되었다. 현재 우리나라 서울대학교에 희귀본이 소장되어 있는데 보존상태가 상당히 좋은 편이다. 고려대, 동아대에도 石印本이 소장되어 있지만 고려대본은 낙질본이고 동아대본은 소설판본이 아닌 鼓詞本이며 모두 희귀본은 아닌 게 판명되었다. 따라서 서울대 판본을 중심으로 연구를 진행하였고 작품의 서사에 대해서는 春風文藝出版社의 출판본을 참고하였다. 우성룡은 재판에 진행하는 데에 있어서 추리, 신령, 꿈 등을 이용하여 판결을 내렸는데, 그의 직관적인 판단력과 해결방식은 영웅적인 요소를 포함하고 있다고 하겠다. 작품의 서사는 사건의 발생, 추리 및 조사, 해결의 순서로 진행되지만 중간에 다른 사건들이 개입되어 전개되고 있어 흥미진진한 재미를 주고 있다. 또한 우성룡의 관직 임용부터 시작하여 마지막은 그가 승진하고 태평성대를 누리는 구조로 되어 있어 일종의 액자식 구조를 활용하고 있다고도 하겠다.

영어초록

Yugonganqiwen(于公案奇聞) is a trial story that Yuchenglong(于成龍) ruled. Yuchenglong was a highly respected person at the time. There were a lot of stories about Yuchenglong in the private sector. Since the writer made these stories together, there are some stories that are close to real stories, and some stories that have been created by giving fictional imagination. Yuchenglong came to trial with fair and superior reasoning, and sometimes it was awarded to the people at that time because he had a good judgment with the help of spirit.
As a result of examining the collections of the Dong-A university of Korea, I found out that it is a different ‘Guci(鼓詞)’ than the Yugonganqiwen. Guci is a kind of Speaking and singing literature(讲唱文学), it is has a story but it has a rhythm. This work has 16 works, and it seems that it performed some contents of ‘Yugongan(于公案)’. Currently, Yugonganqiwen is located in Seoul National University, Korea, and its preservation status is very good. Seoul National University's ‘Yugonganqiwen’ is a Chinese stone imprint published in 1800, and it will be a resource for judging the circulation situation of Choseon(朝鮮) Dynasty books in the future. I hope that this study will lead to further research on this work.
When we look at the progress of narrative, we have a sequential composition of event occurrence → reasoning and investigation → solution and judgment. It has a merit of being simple, but also containing various events, which gives readers excitement and almost no boredom. In addition, starting with the appointment of Yuchenglong's office, the last one is designed to promote him and enjoy the peaceful life, it can be said that Yugonganqiwen uses a kind of framed composition.
The trial is centered on various events such as fighting, theft, obstruction of marriage, attempted murder, sexual harassment. The events that seemed to be complicated in ancient times and now in simple cases occurred, but Yuchenglong made very clear decisions. So it seems that Yuchenglong was a judge who gave the people a feeling of being a ‘hero of trial’. Moreover, because he controls everything, this work is close to the form of the biography.
