App-Book용 DigitalIllustration의 제작연구 (A Study on production of Digital Illustration for App-Book)

초록

본 연구에서는 앱북(App-Book)용 디지털일러스트레이션 제작을 통해 융합형 콘텐츠로서 의의를 갖기 위한 디지털일러스트레이션의 특성을 밝혀보고자 국내 외 앱북 사례를 바탕으로 ‘도라도라도라(TORATORATORA)2014’ 창작 시사동화 장르의 디지털일러스트레이션을 제작하였다. 융합형 콘텐츠가 되기 위한 디지털일러스트레이션은 캐릭터나 배경 그림이 한 장의 잘 그려진 그림이 아니라 레이어로서 각각 분리되어 상호작용이 가능하고 그 요소들이 미니 게임 등의 콘텐츠로도 활용되어야 하는 특징을 연구하였다. 이제 디지털일러스트레이션 제작 시에는 스타일링이 잘 된 멋진 그림으로서만이 아니라 스마트 디바이스의 센서와 같은 기술적인 특징을 감안하여 전체와 부분적 요소가 잘 구성된 디지털일러스트레이션이 되어야 한다. 다만 편협하게 기술적으로만 접근한다면 인문학적 철학의 부재에 따른 부작용을 겪게 될 것이므로 충실한 내용이 기반이 되어 미학적으로 바라보는 시선이 필요하다.
디지털일러스트레이션은 소통과 정보전달의 역할 뿐 아니라 그림 자체만으로도 훌륭한 예술작품으로 평가되고 있다. 그러나 예술적인 표현방식 이외에 융합형 콘텐츠로서의 선도적 역할을 하며, 종합 예술형식의 그림 동화책으로서 활발히 연구되고 활용되도록 향후 연구과제로는 미학적 고찰을 하여 모바일 앱북이 사람들의 상상력, 창조력, 탐구심에 더욱 좋은 영향을 주는 매체로 활용되도록 할 것이다. 더불어 융합형 콘텐츠 제작자 및 일러스트레이터에게도 좋은 길잡이 역할을 하며 추후 디지털 일러스트레이션으로 이루어지는 모든 융합형 콘텐츠 제작에 기여하기 위함이다.

영어초록

In order to find out the characteristics of Digitalillustration to be meaningful as convergence contents through the production of Digitalillustration for App-Book, so this study produced the Digitalillustration of 'TORA!TORA!TORA! 2014' a creative fairy tale under the genre of crative fairy tale about current issues based on domestic and international cases of Digitalillustration for convergence contents. The characteristics are as follows. A picture drawing a character or a background scene should be separated into various layers, not a well-drawn picture, so that the layers enable to interact with each other, and the components of each layer should be utilized as contents for mini games, etc. From now on, at producing Digitalillustration work, the illustrator should produce a Digitalillustration work that partial factors are organized under the overall framework with considering technical features like smart device's sensor as well as a styling-nice picture. But if the production of Digitalillustration work is approached only in technical terms, the producer may challenge some side effects resulting from the absence of liberal philosophy, so it needs to see Digitalillustration works from aesthetic viewpoint based on faithful contents. A Digitalillustration takes the role of communication and information messenger, and its picture is evaluated as a good art work in itself. However , besides its vale in artistic expression ways, the Digitalillustration should lead the convergence contents field, and actively be studied and utilized as an artistic picture fairy tale book. For these purpose, this study suggests that future studies should contemplate aesthetic features of Digitalillustration, and develop the Digitalillustration to be utilized as a medium more positively influencing on people's imagination, creativity, and inquiring mind. Furthemore, this study will take the role of a good guide for converence contents producers and illustrators and will contribute in producing all kinds of convergence contents which will be composed of Digitalillustrations.
