초록

소태산 대종사의 일원주의와 정산종사의 삼동윤리사상을 토대로 원불교 제3대 종사인 대산 김대거에 의해 제창된 종교연합운동은 종교 간의 교류와 협력에 대한 구체적 대안을 제시하면서 종교간 대화의 실제적 사업으로 부상하고 있다. 대산종사의 종교연합운동은 신자유주의 시대가 낳은 사회적 불평등을 해소하고 상생상화의 공동체를 만들기 위한 종교간 대화운동이다.
“진리는 하나, 세계도 하나, 인류는 한 가족, 세상은 한 일터, 개척하자 하나의 세계”라는 대산의 사대진리사상을 바탕으로 추진된 종교연합운동은 원불교의 정체성이기도 하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 종교연합운동 속에 나타난 대산의 종교간 대화원리를 해석학적 분석을 통하여 살펴보고자 한다. 이것은 종교연합운동의 토대가 된 대산의 사대진리사상이 어떻게 종교 간의 대화원리로 작용하는지 규명하는 작업이기도 하다. 본 논문에서는 대산의 종교간 대화의 원리를 그의 사대진리사상과 소태산 대종사와 정산종사의 주요 사상을 중심으로 해석학적으로 분석, 고찰할 것이다.
특히 자본주의 시대에 세계평화와 정의실현을 위해 추진된 대산의 종교간 대화운동을 원효의 체상용(體相用) 원리를 통해 분석, 조명하고자 한다. 원효의 체상용 원리는 대립과 갈등을 화해시키는 화쟁원리로서 좋은 모델이 되기 때문이다. 이 작업을 위해 대산의 종교간 대화의 토대가 되는 사대진리사상을 원효의 체상용의 원리에 입각해 심층 분석할 것이다. 그 결과를 중심으로 대산의 종교간 대화가 갖는 특징과 의미를 밝히고자 한다.
먼저 원효의 체상용 대화원리를 간략히 소개한 후, 이어서 대산종사의 종교 간의 대화를 원효의 체‧상‧용 대화의 세 방향에서 분석, 고찰할 것이다. 마지막으로 그 분석결과를 토대로 대산의 종교간 대화의 특징을 제기 한 후 결론에서 미래의 ‘대화운동’으로서 대산의 종교간 대화를 전망하고자 한다.

영어초록

The movement through inter-religious cooperation proposed by Master Daesan Kim Daegeo, who is the third Master in Won Buddhism, based on Monism of the Great Master Sotaesan and the Philosophy of Three Identities Ethics of Master Jeongsan, has emerged as a practical operation of inter-religious dialogue, suggesting specific alternatives for the exchanges and cooperation between religions. The movement through inter-religious cooperation by Master Daesan is a movement of inter-religious dialogue to eliminate the social inequality caused by the neo-liberal era, and to create a community of co-existence and harmony.
The movement through inter-religious cooperation which has been promoted on the base of Daesan's Philosophy of Four Truths, "One Truth, One World, One Family of Humanity, One Workplace of the World; Let's Develope One World", is also the identity of Won Buddhism. Therefore, this thesis examines Daesan's principle of inter-religious dialogue appearing in the movement through inter-religious cooperation, using the method of hermeneutical analysis. It also involves a study to determine how Daesan's Philosophy of Four Truths, which is the foundation of the movement through inter-religious cooperation, works as the principle of inter-religious dialogue.
This thesis analyzes and examines Daesan's principle of inter-religious dialogue centering on his Philosophy of Four Truths and the main thoughts of the Great Master Sotaesan and Master Jeongsan.
Especially, Daesan's inter-religious dialogue movement, which has been promoted to realize the world peace and justice in this capitalist era, is analyzed and investigated through Wonhyo's principle of Essence, Aspect and Function. It is because Wonhyo's Principle of Essence, Aspect and Function is a good model for the principle of Hwajaeng to reconcile confrontations and conflicts. For this, Daesan's Philosophy of Four Truths as the foundation of his inter-religious dialogue is analyzed in depth based on Wonhyo's principle of Essence, Aspect and Function. The result will shed a light on the characteristics and significance of Daesan's inter-religious dialogue.
First, a brief introduction to Wonhyo's dialogue principle of Essence, Aspect and Function is made and then Daesan's inter-religious dialogue is analyzed and considered in three directions of Wonhyo's dialogue of Essence, Aspect and Function. Lastly, the characteristics of Dasan's inter-religious dialogue are presented based on the result, and Daesan's inter-religious dialogue is considered as the future 'dialogue movement' in the conclusion.
