친환경 전시산업 트랜드와 향후방안 연구 -국내·외 전시장 친환경 도입사례를 중심으로- (The Study of Trend of Environmental-Friendly Exhibition Industry and Future Plan -Centrally on the Case of Introduction about Environmental-Friendly Exhibition Center in this Nation and other Country-)

초록

환경문제가 전 세계적으로 중요한 의제로 부상한 가운데 국내 전시업계에서도 친환경이 단연 화두이며, 현재 친환경 전시는 업계 전반에서 지속적인 관심을 보이고 있다. 국내 전시산업은 양적인 성장을 거듭하고 있으며, 더불어 우리나라가 전시 선진국으로 진입하기 위해서는 세계적인 트렌드인 친환경 전시환경이 동반된 개발 여건이 형성되어야 한다.
본 연구에서는 친환경과 국내 전시산업의 성장이라는 두 개념을 융합시켜 향후 국내 전시산업이 나아갈 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 주된 범위로는 이론적 고찰을 통하여 친환경 전시의 개념 및 전망을 제시하고 국내·외 전시장의 사례를 통하여 시사점을 제시한 후 선행사례를 바탕으로 친환경요소 도입을 위한 향후방향에 대하여 논하였다.
본 연구는 전시 선진국인 독일, 미국, 호주의 친환경 전시센터의 사례와 국내 대표적 전시센터인 코엑스, 엑스코 등의 사례를 분석하여 친환경 전시가 어떠한 방식으로 진행하고 있는지를 조사해 보고 이를 토대로 정부의 지원, 전시참가자의 역할, 관·산·학의 연계, 국제협력 등의 네가지 시사점을 도출하였다. 마지막으로 전시산업의 친환경요소 도입을 위한 향후방향으로 첫째, 친환경 전시를 위한 전시부스 둘째, 전시장내 시설의 친환경화 셋째, 전시회 홍보 및 마케팅의 친환경화 등에 대하여 제시하였다.
아직 국내에서 친환경전시가 활성화 되지는 않았지만 친환경 전시의 필요성은 업계전반에서 충분히 공감하고 있으며 관심도 및 기대가 높은 상황이다. 친환경전시는 전시업계 모두가 함께 고민하고 만들어나가야 하는 계속적 과정이며 이를 활성화 시키기 위하여 관·산·학이 연계된 연구와 전시업계의 노력이 지속적으로 병행되어야 할 것이다.

영어초록

Environmental problem becomes the most important topic in the world, and environmental-friendly is the main topic in domestic exhibition industry. Currently, all industries focus on environmental-friendly exhibition. Domestic exhibition industry has quantitative growth, and development condition with environmental-friendly exhibition environment, which is international trend, have to be established when our nation enters the developed country of exhibition.
This study combines 2 concepts, which are environmental-friendly and growth of domestic exhibition industry, and this study suggests the direction of domestic exhibition industry that is necessary to go forward. A range of this study is the suggestion of concept and future of environmental-friendly exhibition through theoretical consideration, and also suggestion of implication through the case of exhibition center in this nation and other country is also the range of study. With these 2 ranges and existing examples, this study discusses about future plan for the introduction of environmental-friendly elements.
This study analyses the cases such as case of environmental-friendly exhibition center from Germany, USA, and Australia, and case of COEX and Expo that are representative exhibition center in this nation. This study examines how environmental-friendly exhibition is processing, and this study deducts 4 implications, which are the support of government, role of participants, connection among government, industry, and academia, and international cooperation, with analyzation on the above. For the last, this study suggests future plans for the introduction of environmental-friendly elements for exhibition industry. First, Exhibition booth for environmental-friendly exhibition. Second, introducing environmental-friendly to facility in the exhibition center. Third, advertisement of exhibition and environmental-friendly marketing.
Although environmental-friendly exhibition is not activated in this nation, necessity of environmental-friendly exhibition is sympathized in all industry. Interest and expectation for this are high. Environmental-friendly exhibition is continuous process by all of exhibition industries, and study related with government, industry, and academia and effort of exhibition industry should consistently combined to activate environmental-friendly exhibition.
