초록

In this paper, we suppose that Alexandros regards Philotas, Parmenion, Kleithos as an obstacles to his seizure of absolute power. We can see something in common in those three cases. That is, elimination to persons that are elder generals or commander of elite troops is taken place. Ancient writers - Plutarchos, Quintus Curtius Rufus, Arrianos - says that his brutal acts are result of passion, pride, or drunkenness. But in this paper, we suppose those cases are come not from accidental occurrence but from elaborated intention. In philotas' case, Alexandros shows several intentions of clearness of obstacle, as in his saying with Dymnos or in speeches to soldiers. If we suppose that all his peculiar acts - proskynesis, receiving the oracle of Amun, proskynesis, adaption of Persian customs, marrage with Persian women, execution of Kallisthenes - are the outcome of his will of power. In our view, his will of power is stronger than any other his personality.
