초록

흔히들 사회복지를 사회 구성원의 기본적인 욕구를 충족시키고 최소한의 안정된 삶을 보장하는 것으로 궁극적으로는 사회 통합과 안녕을 달성하려는 사회적 활동의 총체를 뜻한다고 한다. 이는 달리 말하면 사회구성원의 안정된 삶의 상태[well bing]를 의미한다고 하겠으며, 안정은 최소한의 물질적 욕구와 심리적 안정을 의미한다고 하겠다. 따라서 공자가 실현하고자 한 대동세계는 “노인들은 제 수명을 마칠 수 있었고, 장년은 각자 직분을 지니며, 아이들은 길러졌고, 홀아비⋅과부⋅고아⋅독신⋅불구자도 모두 부양받을 수 있었다. 남자는 직분이 있고 여자는 각각 시집갈 곳”이 있는 사회구성원의 안정된 삶이 보장되는 사회복지국가였다.

영어초록

This thesis is an article about Confucius' social welfare thought in Daedong world of Yeun, Yeun, from the viewpoint of social welfare.Confucius is a professed adult born in the late Qin Dynasty 2500 years ago, who inherited the passing adult and opened up future scholars. Confucius' political thought was based on rén(仁) and the thought of Jeongmyeong(正名) and tried to realize the ideal state of Daedong World.
Social welfare began with the history of mankind. Prior to the Industrial Revolution of the 18th century, there had been philanthropy and charity work of individuals and churches, and there was also a relief project commonly called the jiùxù(救恤) by the state. However, social welfare in the modern sense has reached the limit of charity by the private sector, such as deepening the gap between the rich and the poor, poor working environment, and unemployment caused by the industrial revolution, and active intervention and adjustment of the state is needed.
It is often said that social welfare is the total of social activities to achieve social integration and well-being by satisfying the basic needs of social members and ensuring a minimum stable life. In other words, it means a stable life state of a member of society, and stability means a minimum material desire and psychological stability. Therefore, the Daedong world that Confucius wanted to realize was that the elderly could finish their life, the elderly had their own jobs, the children were raised, and all the widowers, widows, orphans, singles, and cripples were able to receive support. It was a social welfare state where a stable life of a social member with a man's job and a woman's place to marry.
